This Ke Iki Cottage is all renovated with a granite kitchen counter top, and a clean bathroom w/ tub & shower also an enclosed outdoor hot water shower. The interior and exterior all nice clean and fresh. We did the remodel the whole time keeping in mind the almost forgotten Hawaiian Style home that dates back to the classic north shore days. Ke Iki Beach is known for its quiet pristine white sand beaches. If you are looking for a place to be loud and party this is not the place for you.
The North Shore is known for its lush tropical plants along with a beautiful country setting. This cottage is located right on the four-mile bike path for morning strolls or afternoon walks in paradise.Four bikes are provided for you and your family to enjoy.
We are walking distance to Foodland and The Coffee Bean also Sharks Cove lunch truck and rental equipment.
Kottage is just minutes from the Turtle Bay Resort - Known for its championship golf course, Lei Lei's Restaurant, Tennis Courts, and shopping or just relaxing at the poolside bar with a mai tai. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Please email to check availability. Aloha!
We really enjoyed our stay. Great place and location. Found awsome snorkeling at Turtle Bay. Really enjoyed polynesian center. Really enjoyed having the beach supplies. Thanks & mahalo
Great location on the north shore, plenty of ocean access. Very accommodating facilities. Thank you
We had this cottage in April for our stay in Oahu and we were not overly thrilled with the cottage. The first issue was the number of lizards we had to contend with indoors. We caught quite a few running around the kitchen and bathroom areas. We ensured that we emptied our luggage and repacked before leaving as we were afraid we would bring home a few passengers with us. This may have been due to all of the rain we had the week we visited, but this is something that needs to be addressed.
The first night we arrived, we could not open the lock on the side of the house. I called the landlord due it pouring rain and we could not see the lock very well and she basically reprimanded me for bothering her and told me to use the front door instead as it had the same code. (Well that would have been easier than having me try the side door in the dark getting poured on)
The washer and dryer are outdoors and they were rusty and in poor shape. The washer had all kinds of bugs in it, so we did not use it. The bicycles and swimming gear were outdoors as well and not worth messing due to cleanliness issues as it rained quite a bit during our stay.
We did walk up towards the beach one day, but the access to the beach was treacherous as there are roots and rocks leading down to the beach and you could easily hurt yourself. My in-laws are older so we did not attempt to go down on the beach area. It would not have mattered as the surf was very rough during our stay and swimming would have been nothing short of a miracle.
We stayed in a condo in Maui that was right on the beach for less money that had everything this placed lacked. Do not let the photos deceive you as this cottage is not what it seems to be. I realize my review is two months after our visit, but I wanted to ensure I received my deposit back.
Perfect location. Perfect size. Everything you need for the North Shore.
My daughters, my husband and I spent 2 whole weeks in this superb location. Could not have asked for any more perfection. It was clean and had everything we needed to cook suppers and eat together in the dining area. We loved the enclosed back yard and the hammock amidst the beautiful trees and vegetation. We loved the outside shower. We loved enjoying coffee with the beautiful lizards on the front porch. We most loved that there were bicycles that we could use to jump on the bike path and ride to Sharks cove, Pupukea, and/or park them and walk the rest of the way to Waimea Bay! No driving or looking for parking ever! We also walked to Sunset several times, as well as walking across the the church on Sunday. I couldn't be more thankful for my time spent here! Worth every penny!!
We all had a great time staying here. The cottage was clean and cozy. Had everything we needed for our stay. Will be passing on the information to our family and friends. We are already talking about a return trip! Thank you for everything.
Lovely little house, well stocked, clean, well maintained and cared for by the owners. Owners are great people and were very helpful/honest/responsive. Short walk through the back gate to Ke Iki beach. Highly recommended!
