About Darla: 740-407-1059

We are BIG fans of the Hocking Hills, and we live just one hour away in the Columbus area. Since childhood, we learned to appreciate nature and our environment. Getting the opportunity a few decades later to buy land and build a vacation retreat in our favorite Ohio location, was a real life changing treat! Our family (two adult sons and daughter-in-law) and extended family and friends enjoy some rest and relaxation at the property several times a year. We open our home to others to enjoy, and hope they feel it's their home away from home too!

Darla: 740-407-1059 purchased this lodge in 2007

Why Darla: 740-407-1059 chose Ohio

Seems like a world away but only a one hour drive from the city of Columbus. Hocking Hills is a great break from the city, providing beautiful scenery, tranquil and relaxing environment with so many natural attractions very close by.

What makes this lodge unique

Bamboo trees near patio and deck. Custom Automation Technology to control lights, security and utilities via lap top when home is not in use to conserve energy, on-site composting to feed the landscape.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We enjoyed our 5 nights here so much. We wish we were not packing the car right now and could just stay here longer. The lodge is beautiful and very nicely furnished. The bonfire pit and hot tub were some of our very favorites. The kids favorite things were the foosball and pool table, and leaving the property one day for a zip lining trip. This setting was so relaxing and quiet, yet so close to the State Park. Thank you for calling the dog catcher for us to tell them about the sweet stray dog that wondered onto the property throughout our stay. By the time he got here, the dog wondered off again BUT came back again as we were packing to leave. The kids fell in love with the dog for the past several days so needless to say, we have one additional passenger for the ride back home. Her newly given name is Maggie per the kids! Must be fate as we were planning on getting a family pet. The kids are THRILLED to add Maggie to our family!

Wonderful and secluded luxury in the woods

  • 5 of 5

My husband treated me to a four night stay here for my birthday and early Valentine's Day trip. We'd never been to Hocking Hills before, but want to make it a point to go each year now. This property was very clean, hilltop views, wildlife visitors, nicely furnished and so relaxing! We enjoyed the movies, pool table, the hot tub, and hiking down the driveway to the Buckeye Trail, Ash Cave and Cedar Falls. We loved the house and the surrounding land. In four days, we never heard anything, never saw anyone except when we went sight seeing and to dinner. We will definitely come again, and bring our parents.

Beautiful property with plenty of room to entertain! Great location to some of the best trails!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at Hocking Hills in the All Seasons Lodge. We had 3 families of 4 and had plenty of room. The kids loved bunking in the bunk beds. The house is so spacious that we didn't feel like we were living on top of each other. The scenery is stunning! Easy access to some great trails! The All Seasons Lodge was clean, updated and comfortable! We would all stay there again for sure and recommend it to friends and family!

Incredible place in a very nice location. Best for reflection and relaxation

  • 5 of 5

Everything was perfect and neat. If one thing that needs to be improved is the Internet connection. It was really poor and slow and we relied mainly on it because of no cell phone network coverage there whatsoever.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the wonderful review. The internet service we have is the absolute best (only one option) available. It is satellite based, and not available via phone lines YET in our specific area. This makes it slower than city internet options, and we apologize for that. We do have 24/7 landline free long distance phone service to call anywhere in the United States, because cell phone reception in Hocking Hills is very spotty. We notify guests in advance of this fact, and issue them the landline # to give their family a full month prior to arrival. Again, we thank you very much for the great review! Sincerely, Darla

Our family reunion was made very comfortable in this house. Hiking during the day. Family games at night. We would hope to come back again.

Girls' Weekend Feb. 17-20, 2017

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful home! Your house was perfect for our annual Girls' Weekend. It was very comfortable with so many amenities. We especially enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, the fire pit and indoor fireplace. With the weather being especially warm for this time of year, we were able to do a lot of hiking, and the house was great to come "home" to afterwards. The kitchen was well equipped. I would highly recommend this home for large groups.
