LA-native, avid snowboarder and lover of all things Mammoth. Favorite runs include 1) Cornice/St Anton/Guinness at the Main Lodge. 2) Dave's Run/Ricochet/Sleep Hollow/Guinness at Eagle Lodge 3) Upper Road Runner/Red's Lake Run/Santiago/Beer at Outpost 14 (they don't have Guinness there!!)
The Owner purchased this condo in 2005
Because I couldn't afford the ski-in/ski-out mansiont on the mountain.
1) Firewood provided at no charge to burn on those chilly nights for your comfort and use.
2) No need for parking permits, drive as many cars as necessary
3) Literally just a few steps away from the jacuzzi outside, so no need to endure any long and cold walks to and from your unit.
4) 1 block away from the Red Line shuttle stop #11 and 1.5 blocks away from the Green Line shuttle stop #33
5) On-premise coin-operated laundry
The other reviews are spot on and don't leave much else for me to say. Very responsive and the location is fantastic. There is a Mexican market across the street and plenty of other food options, Rite Aid is a 5 minute walk, and rental locations are a 7 minute walk on the way to one of the multiple shuttle stops. I will definitely look to book this place again on my next trip to Mammoth.
The condo is well equipped, and great for my family of 5. Near great places to eat after long day at the slopes. It was great to enjoy the weekend and not be disappointed about our choice of where to stay.
The location was good although the place was fairly bare bones. The biggest downside was the bed and fold out bed which were of poor quality and not comfortable at all.
A fireplace and firewood was provided which was a plus and the overall experience was good. If you need a place to stay for the weekend on a budget, I would recommend this place.
The owner is responsive and helpful.
My friend and I had a great stay. The place is very comfortable. We took advantage of your coffee maker and used the jacuzzi. Parking was very convenient. The manager didn't always answer his phone, but eventually communicated via text.
The location is great. I would come back again.
My wife, two children and I stayed for two nights at this simple yet functional condo. The place was spotless, there was firewood in the balcony, hot water not a problem, nice natural light during the day... Nothing to complain about. Hope to go there again.
Location, location! The cost benefit of this condo is awesome, well located in walking distance to restaurants and just half a block from shuttle stop. Will come back for sure.
