Beautiful property in a beautiful location
Quiet neighborhood with private backyard. There is wireless Internet, a sonos music system, cable, a washer & dryer and an outdoor gas grill on the upstairs deck.
The house was really clean, comfortable, artistic and eclectic. It is exactly how it is pictured. It was a perfect stay for a low key bachelorette weekend for 9 girls.
The property was perfect for our group and in a great location. Liz was very accommodating and helpful.
I stayed here with a group of girlfriends and we had a wonderful time. The house is private and set back off the street in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood at the base of the hills, yet it is only a short drive to downtown Santa Barbara. It is well kept, bright and airy, with lots of fun and unique art. My favorite things about staying at this home were using the spacious kitchen and large dining room table for a nice dinner party, and enjoying brunch and coffee on the beautiful, sunny deck. This home is a great option for larger groups visiting Santa Barbara.
This home is everything the other reviews state. However, a warning to be careful of all the objects. We chipped a vase on a small shelf by the front door, so asked for a repair estimate and value. We were never provided either, except being told was extremely valuable. We were given two potential artists, but their work didn't match the vase's signature or medium. The manager apologized and acknowledged she shouldn't have placed it there. The owner kept a significant portion of our deposit without explanation or documentation. That is not right.
It was a great place for the 10 of us to have group gatherings, cook and have private space. The art is really interesting and added to the experience.
The house is exactly as shown in the photos. It's airy, very lite, extremely artistic, wonderfully stocked kitchen and supplies and good enough for a couple of families sharing the space. It's only a 10 min drive max to the main area on State st. The only complaint is that there is no Air conditioning in the house. It might not be a problem for people staying in winter but during the hot summer months and days, AC is an absolute must. I would stay here again during winter time, especially since I was in love with the pots and pans in this house.
