Brockway Springs Resort offers the most incredible experience for your Lake Tahoe mountain vacation. Every season is beautiful here! We are close to all North Lake Tahoe ski areas, but retain the convenience of being in the middle of Kings Beach with a heated pool & Sauna when off the slopes.
We have a lakefront pool which is heated year round by our own hot springs and tennis courts right on the lake. Our beautifully appointed clubhouse, fitness room, and newly remodeled co-ed sauna complete the recreation area. Our comfortable one bedroom/one bath condo has a wood burning fireplace with a full kitchen, and is perfect for a couple or small family.
Brockway is within walking distance of all the King's Beach activities: mini golf, movie theaters, restaurants, shopping, and of course the beach and water activities. It is very private yet in the middle of everything!!
Winter at Brockway Springs: You will love our little corner of the lake. There is no finer skiing than the North Lake Tahoe area. Dining and sports activities abound here. We are close to the world class skiing resorts of Northstar-at-Tahoe, Diamond Peak, Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, Homewood, and Mt. Rose. A short drive will take you to Heavenly Valley and Kirkwood resorts on the southern end of the lake.
Give us a try!! We have a winter special for you.
Summer at Brockway Springs: The summers here are exquisite, you can walk into Kings Beach and have access to mini golf, movie theaters. There are great restaurants like Caliente, Jason's, Steamers, Log Cabin all within walking distance from Brockway Springs. Cultural experiences abound such as Shakespeare on the Lake, music festivals, street/craft fairs and farmers markets.
We are from Marin County and I own a travel agency named 'Travelfax'. I have been a travel professional for 35 years. We love to come up and just enjoy the summer at the lake with our friends.
Every morning I bike to Jazzercise at the community center in King's Beach.
Our tennis courts are a must for anyone like myself who plays tennis. Tahoe is our favorite spot worldwide!!!
Michelle Schultz purchased this condo in 1996
I have been coming to this resort since it was built and finally realized that if I was going to make an investment in a Tahoe property, it had to be at Brockway. A dream come true!!
We loved our stay in your vacation home! It was just the right size for the 3 of us and very cozy. Our daughter loved the seating situation and made use of the pool nearby. We both thought that your place was nice and clean too, which I liked a lot. There wasn't as much snow this time around, so we didn't sled, but my husband was able to ski at Northstar. We did make our regular visit to Soule Domaine and I do look forward to coming back again.
We loved this condo. Great views of the lake with a super pool and sauna right on the lake. The condo is wonderfully furnished and great central location for doing everything at North Lake Tahoe. The bed is very comfortable; the condo is clean and well stocked; the grounds are well groomed. Wonderful lawn to watch the kids play on. The owner/manager Michelle could not be more helpful; she was terrific! We will come here again for sure, and recommend it to all our friends and relatives.
My husband and I booked this condo for three nights to celebrate our anniversary. Although the snow was minimal, the vacation was wonderful. The view of the lake was nice through the sliding doors, and it was even warm enough to sit outside on the balcony. We really enjoyed the swimming pool - no where in Tahoe is there a 90 degree pool set alongside the lake. Truly a unique wonder. Plenty of towels to enjoy it too. Thank you MIchelle, for sharing your home with us.
We were late making a reservation and were thrilled to find this condo at Brockway Shores!! We were in Tahoe to ski with our grandchildren...the location of the condo was perfect for access to Diamond Peak and Mt. Rose. An added benefit was that lovely view of Lake Tahoe from the living room. Unit was clean and comfortable...away from the street so traffic noise was not an issue...had excellent internet connection and cable TV. The owner was very friendly and responsive to our inquiry...thanks, Michelle!!
I took my family there (2 small kids) and had a great time. The natural spring pool was very warm and the owner was very responsive.
My bride & I stayed at this wonderful condo in the fall of 2010. We fell in love with Brockway Springs! Its a VERY special place...historic and picturesque, yet modern, convenient, and fully-featured. Our particular condo was immaculate and fully equipped. We met 2 families at the spectacular lakefront pool & pier that had been coming to Brockway for GENERATIONS...like since 1950! Needless to say, we'll be back. It may become a tradition!
The unit is in a gated condominium and housing community on the east end of King’s Beach.
The Pros: The buildings are architecturally well done and tasteful and the grounds are impeccably kept. The arrangements were easy to make (Michelle was very responsive and helpful) and there is an office with very friendly people at the office/gate (8 am – midnight) who handles keys etc.
The unit is adequately furnished and has a nice sized patio with table, chairs and a gas grill. Parking is ample and near by. The view of the Lake is unobstructed, close by and lovely. The complex had a peaceful feel when we were here the week before Labor Day– quiet and few people around. The location is good and it is an easy trip to King’s Beach and to main roads. There is a Safeway nearby. The bathroom is large and has two sinks and plenty of towels. The kitchen had enough of the right equipment to easily make meals.
The Cons: The unit is fairly dark most of the time. The only windows are one in the bedroom, which is at ground level and the patio double sliding doors. May be more of an issue in the summer than the winter. The pool and tennis courts are quite a ways from the unit. There is no washer/dryer in the unit and the ones for the complex are coin operated in the next building over. The main road (route 28) is not far away and there is a background hum from the cars and trucks. No hair dryer in the unit and the office was unable to help with one.
