The beauty of the ocean right at your door. Small quiet beach, secluded, yet close. 25 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes north to Cancun, or 30 minutes south to Playa del Carmen. The first is a master bedroom suite with king bed, comfortable double bed futon, and private bathroom, plus a private ocean overlook breakfast balcony to watch the sunrise. Also, 2 more bedrooms and full bath with king beds. There is also a half bath downstairs.

Swim in the ocean, or lounge around your own oceanfront pool, and patio. Sit on the oceanfront porch to while away the hours with your favorite snacks while watching the boats go by, or enjoy the private rooftop sundeck for an all over tan, or to watch the stars at night. The ocean in front is an aquatic national park. No jet skis, parachute boats,or speed boats allowed. Only sail,.kayaks, and self propelled watercraft. About louis connors

We purchased our property to build a vacation home and for investment. We are 25 minutes to Cancun International Airport, so we can easily get to anyplace in the world. From most of the northern major cities of the USA and CANADA, we can be here sitting on the front porch having a martini, before someone else can get thru the airport at their destination in Florida. Flight time from New York to Cancun is one hour longer than getting to Miami. The entire Mayan Riviera coast is still growing, so it's a great place to live, and play. We LOVE to shop, and this is a shoppers paradise.

Why louis connors chose Quintana Roo

We really enjoy the tranquility of the Puerto Morelos area and the location is so central to everything going on in the Riviera Maya. Always a sea breeze blowing thru the windows all year round, and you can hear the sound of the surf, or just sit on the porch and watch the pelicans and seagulls fly overhead and swoop in for fish. We have a nice social life, as there are many other english speakers around, from many places, as well as our latin and european friends. We dine with friends frequently, and there is always a new or unique place to try some different cuisine, whether it's at a friends home or party, or in a restaurant specializing in food from another country, which there are plenty of all over the area. There is always some new activity, or festival somewhere. We love to beachwalk, and we meet many people from all over the world who come here for vacation and we get into some very interesting conersations. We love to sit on the oceanfront balcony and just people watch, or swim in the ocean, or in our own private pool, or quietly read in a gently swinging hammock, and listen to music, while mellowing out with the sounds of the sea. We also go to the sidewalk cafes alot for a drink and a chat, and there are loads of them too, in every city and town. There is plenty to see and plenty to do. There is something for everyone here. And then there are the markets. Another bonanza!

What makes this house unique

Our location is perfect. Everybody wants to shop, or see the sights. More and more repeat guests that have stayed in places like Akumal, Tankah, or Tulum on previous vacations decide to stay with us when they return. 25 minutes from the airport, instead of a 1 -2 hour drive from the airport each way is important. You have to check in at the airport 3 hours ahead of time for international flights these days which means the trip arriving or leaving can take up most of your day. Also, being in the middle of the tourist corridor allows easy access to all the destinations and attractions on offer. More time enjoying things, and less time getting there and getting back.

Beautiful, Exotic and Relaxing Hideaway

  • 5 of 5

My family of 5 and I just spent a delightful summer vacation at this home and it was wonderful. We thought it may be hot because it was August in the tropics, and were pleasantly surprised that there was a nice breeze coming off the ocean everyday. The water temperature both in the pool and in the ocean was just right. We sat on the porch and watched the ships passing far out at sea, and played on what seemed our own private beach. Even though there were other people in residence, there are few on the beach at any given time. Antonio the caretaker, cut and opened fresh coconuts for us, and we put rum and spices in them, and drank our own version of authentic pina colladas. That was a first for all of us. The house was the cleanest beach house we ever rented, and the oceanfront garden was a delight. We grilled lunch several times right by the ocean, and went out for dinner every night. There are tons of restaurants everywhere you go. A week was not enough time. We'll be back!

A Little Bit of Paradise

  • 5 of 5

My family, consisting of 3 adults and 2 children, stayed a week during the month of June and we enjoyed every minute of it! From the moment we were greeted by Louis and Ana, until we drove away, we felt right at home. Neri and Elvia were always available for anything that we needed, from preparing us fresh coconuts to finding extra pool toys for the kids. The house was very spacious and clean and the pool was maintained daily. We wish we could visit more often!

A slice of paradise

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful stay at casa coco mani . Louis and Ana were fabulous hosts who gave us a thorough orientation after welcoming us with margaritas.

The beach, sea, pool and facilities were wonderful. The kitchen was very well equipped .

Puerto Morelos has loads of really great Mexican restaurants . You do need a car to get to town .we did walk one early morning along the beach for a great breakfast at a little restaurant south side of the square.

Didn't Want to Leave!

  • 4 of 5

My family enjoyed a wonderful week at Casa Coco Mani. Louis and Ana greeted us with much appreciated coffee and snacks the morning of our arrival. The home was incredibly clean and well cared for. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Housekeeping emptied the trash daily and cleaned the house half-way through our stay. The groundskeeper was very helpful when we wanted to BBQ or harvest a coconut from the yard. The outdoor area was amazing! Most of our time was spent on the wonderful deck. We took many walks along the beach into Puerto Morales...it took a little over an hour one way at a brisk pace. There was one spot on the beach that was a little tricky to pass by due to the high tide and rocks so we found a shortcut just down the road and cut through to the beach. A rental car was a must since town was several miles away. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this home to others. Louis and Ana are amazing hosts and made us feel like family.

An awesome property and location... had a great time!

  • 5 of 5

We just came back on Saturday from this beautiful property. We were a party of 3 couples who stayed for a week on #8 Beach Road. We arrived on Saturday after a short ride from the airport and were greeted by Ana and Louis, the hosts. They had for us a lovely margarita. Nice touch!

The house is exceptionally clean and well appointed. The pictures do it justice as the beach is truly only steps away and the pool is right there! The caretaker Neddy cleans the pool and around the deck daily as well as rakes the beach of seaweed, if necessary. Elvia cleans the entire house and changes linens on Wednesday – she works all morning cleaning, even when we didn’t really have anything messy or dirty. The kitchen is great and we used it a lot since we like to cook. The fridge didn’t work but Louis ordered one and within a few days we had a brand new appliance – thank you!!

The grocery store is only minutes away and while it takes some time to get used to it, by the 3rd day we knew where everything is – and the prices are awesome. It cost us roughly $700 for liquor, food and ice for six adults for one week who enjoy good food and a plethora of drinks while vacationing! We only went out one night downtown to a great bar/restaurant at Hotel Ojo de Agua where we listened and danced to an amazing live band and had great food. We wish we had found it earlier.

Had the best facial which includes an amazing aqua-therapy session (book via email and it’s only $100 for everything!) at Excellance Resort, just minutes away from the house. Make sure you have the email printed out or on your phone because they didn’t have our names when we came up to the gates. It’s also kinda of nice to stick around after the facial and enjoy the premises.

The pool and grounds are well kept by Neddy and the beach was gorgeous! There were a lot of waves but that meant we had beautiful breezes EVERY DAY. There was seaweed in the water the last day and a half but that is mother nature! No problem – there is a great pool right there to enjoy or venture for a drive to Akumel Beach or somewhere like that.

We have no complaints! It was a lovely property run and managed by great people who are very responsive to all our needs. Would we go again? Absolutely… wish I could go right now!! Ah well, a storm is coming our way today here in Nova Scotia so I guess I will just close my eyes and remember just days ago we had lovely ocean breezes, hot sun and beautiful sand/surf!

Total relaxation!

  • 5 of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Smack Dab; a jewel of a house right on the beach. Ana and Louis were there to greet us with Margueritas in hand and were extremely friendly and helpful to us for our first visit to Puerto Morelos. And Neri (Neddy) and Alvia who look after the house did a super job looking after us with home-made guacamole and freshly lopped coconuts. We will be back! It is the perfect spot for a completely valid excuse to do nothing but enjoy the sun and ocean. If you feel the need to go into the charming little village a lot, a bicycle would work but you really do need a car - although Omar and his taxi connection were there within minutes - he even chased me down at the airport when we left with my phone I left on the seat of the cab!
