This beautifully appointed home features a large Living Room with a Fireplace and adjacent Dining Room. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops. There is also a eating area in the Kitchen. Sliding doors from the living room and kitchen area lead directly out to the covered patio area with a babbling brook that runs right by the patio. The pool and spa are right behind the property for easy access and are heated 24/7. The rear patio has a comfortable 6 chair cushioned patio table with a Weber natural gas BBQ. There is also a front patio with a 4 chair patio set that has beautiful mountain views! Indoor entertainment is a 65' LED HDTV with ROKU in the living room along with a Blu-Ray DVD player that is connected to the internet so you can access your Netflix, Hula, Amazon, or any streaming account that you may have. The home has a desktop computer and a laser printer for your use at no charge + wireless Internet throughout the home. The home also has free unlimited long distance through out the US, Canada, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico!

Upstairs there are two Master Bedroom suites with their own private bathrooms. Both Master Suites have Cal-King bedroom sets with remodeled dual sink bathrooms with extra large showers. Downstairs there is a queen size bedroom with its own designer bathroom and also a extra large shower! All bedrooms have their own 26' Flat Screen TV's with built-in DVD players and there is also a 19' flat screen TV in the kitchen. All TV's have digital cable boxes with 100+ channels.

The Kitchen features a large eating area that leads directly to the pool and spa. The home has an inside laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer. The home is 2,320 sq. ft. and has a two car garage.


This is one of the desert’s most desirable gated communities with 9 Regulation Tennis Courts on the grounds (4 are lighted for night play) and conveniently located on Frank Sinatra Drive between Bob Hope and Da Vall Drive. Location - location - location! It is about 20 minutes from downtown Palm Springs’ popular Palm Canyon Drive shopping and dining district. Renowned golf courses, fabulous restaurants, and cultural activities are all nearby! Why Hal Friedlander chose California Desert

We chose to buy our vacation rentals for a few reasons. (1) because we live close to them and can manage them easily. (2) Most of the renters are snowbirds and the busy time of the year is from October 1st through May 31st. That's when it's the most wonderful and comfortable weather and we love staying here in the California sunshine and managing our properties. Off season is when we travel. We like to get out of the desert when the temperatures reach over 100 degrees - and with Patricia having retired from the airlines - it makes it easy for us to travel!

The Best Landlords

We just returned from our second year renting at #33 Tennis Club Drive and have already signed up for 2018. Hal and Pat are the best landlords, immediately responsive to all email or phone queries. One example: the motor in our washing machine gave out on a Thursday. Hal ordered a new state of the art Whirlpool on a Friday, and it was delivered on Saturday (new dryer will be delivered this week) . Our townhouse was spotless when we arrived, and we loved the sounds of the stream and birds right outside our patio and the swimming pool only a few steps away. The location is perfect for driving anywhere in the region from Palm Springs to Palm Desert. We've signed up for next year with our family, and plan to make this a tradition!

Great home in a great location

We have stayed here 3 or 4 times for up to a month and have enjoyed it immensely. It has 3 large king bedrooms each with their own bath. It is large enough that 3 couples can be very comfortable. All the baths and the kitchen have been remodeled in the last few years and are first rate. They seem to always be working to improve the property. For tennis players the numerous courts are hard to beat and particularly on weekends easy to find other players and meet people. Everything in the VRBO listing is correct, including the pictures. You need have no fear that the property is different than presented. Any number of fine restaurants are close by. Hal and Pat are great people and go out of their way to please.

Amazing Weekend

6 of us stayed at Hal and Pat's townhome in Rancho Mirage over the weekend. Hal was very accommodating and quick to reply to emails, texts, and calls when making the arrangements. The location is great, near the 10 and 111. The house is newly redone, clean carpets, 3 big beds, 3 separate new bathrooms, good size kitchen with all the tools needed to take care of a group. The AC and fans make it easy to beat the desert heat. The patio was perfect for morning coffee and breakfast, with a little brook flowing past it. Pool and hot tub are just across the patio. The community is quiet and it's fairly close to Palm Springs, the empire polo fields, and other attractions. Thank you both for a wonderful time!

Fantastic Home in a Great location!

Everything from booking to checking in and out was as smooth as can be! The communication with Hal was perfect! No questions left unanswered. We have rented many homes for our trips and Hal made sure every detail was covered. The home is beautiful in a gated community and perfect for couples. Each room having their own bath is a very big deal for us and this home had beautiful updated baths. Hal made getting to and into the home very easy. His details on the area and the home was very appreciated.

We loved the big back patio and the flowing stream in the back! The pool and hottub were only a stones throw away.

Thanks again and we will be back!

Third Time There

Hard to improve on this spacious and well appointed home. Very comfortable, clean and with all

comforts one could hope for in a rental unit. Lovely patio by a stream, steps from the pool and

lovely landscaping to admire. And location is a plus as well, close to Hwy 111, restaurants, stores, theatres and other amenities. Looking forward to the next visit!

Perfect Thanksgiving Week

We had a wonderful time staying at Pat & Hal's condo. The photos match the clean, well decorated, and perfect layout for privacy for all three bedrooms and living areas. Great location in RM just off Frank Sinatra central to the desert cities and activities. Pat & Hal were both gracious hosts, and made themselves available if needed. Pat sent photos of the kitchen wares in prep for packing, quite nice. I left my laptop AC adapter which Hal promptly mailed back to me the next day. The pool/jacuzzi was literally a 1 minute walk away, and the main pool was great for serious lap swimming in warm water. We hope to come back again.
