Why The Owner chose Lake Tahoe North Shore

We love this location. We enjoy the restaurants and it's so nice just to walk down the hill and have so many choices. Strolling through the shops I always find something unique to buy.

Fantastic

  • 4 of 5

We stayed with 3 boys under 9, and stuck them in one room and had the other to ourselves. The BEST part was how convenient it was to downtown, had it not been icy we would have walked. Yard is big for kids to play and house is eqipped with everything we needed. My only complaint is that there was no parking in front of the house, and it didn't seem as though the cars had moved in a very long time. We were able to park in front of the house next store though so it wasn't completely inconvenient. Will definitely stay again or recommend!

We loved this charming house in Truckee and recommend it strongly!! It was clean, nicely appointed, the mattresses were perfect, and everything we needed was there.

Cute home with lovely backyard

  • 5 of 5

This home is a cute two bedroom, one bath house about two blocks from downtown Truckee. The road up to the house is pretty steep if you're walking, but if you come from the other end of the street it is a lot easier. The house was clean and the owner was good with communication. We loved the backyard. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching two bunnies eating grass and a robin collecting worms and feeding them to her two "teenage" chicks.

Cozy, Centrally-located Truckee base camp

  • 5 of 5

Stayed the long weekend for a local sports tournament. Location was terrific. Easy drive, easy walk. House was cozy - bedrooms and bathroom fine, kitchen and living room solid. Would stay here again.

Great location and easy access!

  • 4 of 5

This house was a great stay for me and my family. Perfect for the 4 of us. Small but cozy and had everything we needed. The owner was great and easy to work with. Location of the house is fantastic. We just walked down the hill a couple blocks and were in Truckee's historic downtown, where there are great restaurants and quaint little shops. And being in central Truckee makes you also central to outdoor activities. Skiing, Lakes Tahoe and Donner, hiking, biking, all quite close.
