Lake Pend Oreille House Rental Photos and Description

House, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

This Sandpoint vacation condo is an amazing rental for all seasons, and offers a luxurious interior, a lakefront view, two seasonal shared swimming pools (open Memorial Day to Labor Day Weekend), and access to the lovely Lake Pend Oreille in Sandpoint, Idaho, and only a short drive from Schweitzer Mountain Resort for wintertime fun! You'll also have a lovely view of the bridge and can hear the trains arriving and departing this small, scenic town.

This Sandpoint lake rental is strolling-distance from downtown Sandpoint for restaurants, art galleries of all types, and other activities for every mood and fancy. Your condo is right on the water for swimming, toe-dipping, and boating fun (bring your personal water craft, or rent one from the City Marina), and you are only 12 miles from the beautiful Schweitzer Mountain Resort, one of Idaho's premier ski resorts.

With a corner view of the lake from both the living room and an outside deck, this home feels elegant and spacious. Its hardwood floors, gas fireplace, cozy furniture, and sleek TV (complete with surround-sound, cable, and a DVD player with a small collection of movies) will offer you comfort in style after a day of play.

The fully stocked kitchen offers peace of mind and convenience for all meals with a stainless steel refrigerator, a gas stovetop/oven, and a dishwasher. The open floor plan offers ample natural light and room to roam.

When bedtime arrives (or naptime, for that matter) go to your spacious bedroom - also with stunning views of Lake Pend Oreille - and snuggle up in your king sized bed. The sofa out in the living room rolls out into a sleeper, and there is space for your loving four-footed companion as well! (One pet only, please, as space is limited. Please note that an additional nightly fee does apply.)

Amenities include, boat slip, partial AC, WiFi, board games, a community charcoal grill for neighborhood socials, an iPod dock for your own sweet tunes, and two adult bikes. This lakefront condo is the perfect size for a couple (or two), with enough room for up to four guests.

This Idaho vacation rental offers activities for all guests: the outdoorsy types will enjoy skiing in the winter at Schweitzer Mountain; hiking around the Selkirk and Cabinet mountains, biking to downtown Sandpoint, and water sports galore on Lake Pend Oreille during the summer. For the artsy types, there's the annual ArtWalk and the Mountain Music Festival. For the kid-at-heart, attractions like Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach Water Park are close by!

Whatever your vacation, and whoever you're with, this Idaho vacation condo is the perfect place to hang out, stretch out, and lounge out for beautiful lakeside views and a relaxed state of mind.

About Vacasa, ID - Coeur d'Alene Region

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Convenient location

 • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay - the unit is tasteful and nicely appointed. . The condo sits across from the highway and train, which are noticeable at night - especially if the windows are open. Additionally this is a ground floor unit and though infrequent, the noise from the upper unit is quite loud. We enjoyed walking to town. If the lake were at full elevation, it would be convenient to SUP right out the back slider. Overall, a nice place to stay though noise may be an issue for some.

Great condo

 • 4 of 5

Stayed here in February. After the reservation was made, most of the correspondences listed the Vacasa main office as the contact, and only a couple listed the regional office as the contact. Tried to contact the Vacasa main office (phone, message, emails) without luck, and finally called the regional office and found someone to confirm status and ask questions. No biggie. Just make sure you call the regional office/the phone number listed in the listing, not in the emails. Would have liked to see confirmation for documents sent too.

The place was easy to find using the given directions. Parking was unassigned in lot, and there were always available spaces. The condo was beautifully furnished and cleaned, with view towards the mountains (not at other buildings). Everything worked fine. This was a very nice and comfortable condo. On days when the weather wasn't so nice, it was great to be able to just relax there and look outside. Town was a short drive away. It was walkable too; just didn't feel like it in February.

The wireless internet worked fine, although it was a slow 1Mbps down. Most coffee shops in town were running 2Mbps, so perhaps that's just what's available. No biggie.

The view does look out towards the highway and the train tracks. Could hear the traffic and the trains, but they weren't bad or bothersome. What was difficult was the folks in the unit above. The floor/ceiling transmitted sound big time. Could hear the person and the dog above walking or running all over the place. Sometimes it felt like a bear was trying to claw through the ceiling. They were up at 6:45am almost daily too. This didn't go on all day long. It just happened on and off during the times you'd expect somebody to be home. It wasn't awful, but something to note.

All in all, a great place. Great location. Great condition. Well equipped. Very comfy. Would stay here again.
