We are a family of 6 living in the Wine Country, just north of San Francisco. After having rented for many years in Incline Village, we decided to purchase our own home here. We love our Lake Tahoe house and can't wait to spend our vacations and weekends here. We would like to share this pleasure and rent this house to people who appreciate the beautiful area and will take care of our house as if it was their own.
The Owner purchased this house in 2008
Incline Village is a wonderful vacation community generally quieter and more relaxing than other spots around the lake with endless opportunities to have fun all year-round. Our house is close to the amenities of Incline Village with easy access to private beaches and recreational facilities, Diamond Peak Ski Resort, hiking and mountain biking trails.
By far, the greatest benefit we enjoy is the peace and quiet when we visit any time of year. We are 5 minute driving distance from everywhere, which makes it practical and yet far enough away to feel away from it all.
This home was everything we could have asked for.
The house was beautifully updated and well stocked with anything and everything you could ever need for a vacation home. The owners have thought of everything to make this a super comfortable and welcoming home. It felt very homey, spacious, clean, and comfortable - not like your typical rental. The location was perfect, close to the lake, but far enough away that we felt a sense of privacy and peacefulness - and there was even a small view of the lake from the front deck!
Their kitchen was one of the best ones we have encountered - granite counter top, stainless steel appliances, a wide variety of cooking utensil, and high quality dishes . We especially loved having the deck located at the back of the house, with an outside dining set, BBQ, and very quiet natural ambiance. It was perfect for evening get togethers after a long day of exploration with friends.
Some other things that stood out to us was how well furnished the house was; the fireplaces, the great selection of DVDs and puzzles/games, and having the essentials upon arrival already in the house like tissues, paper towels, coffee filters, etc. Also, we were very happy to have in-home WiFi access to check our emails and look up delicious recipes.
This house was perfect for hiking enthusiasts like us looking for a great trail and gorgeous view! We were very close to many hiking trails: some trailheads happened to be in the neighborhood and others (Mt. Rose Summit trailheads) were a short drive up Mt. Rose Hwy. In addition, it was just an easy two mile drive to downtown Incline which made for easy access to the beautiful beaches, dining, biking trails, etc.
All in all, the home itself was decorated beautifully, the bedrooms were very spacious, the bathrooms look newly done, the kitchen was well-furnished, and the location was perfect - the photos DO NOT do the cabin justice.
Dealing with the owners was a pleasure and they answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an wonderful stress-free holiday vacation.
This is the second time we've stayed at this vacation home and would clearly recommend it. It's in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood, conveniently located to great hiking or biking trails, beautiful beaches (beach access to private Incline Village beaches) with plenty of restaurants nearby. The house is very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchen is lovely and well-stocked - a fun place to be in. You can enjoy dinner or drinks on one of the two wooden decks. There is also a garage for your use, which might be particularly helpful during winter months. We also appreciate added touches like lovely bath soaps and lotions.
This home was a great getaway for our family. It has been recently renovated and is well appointed. Large decks off of the front and back give lots of additional space and allows you to further enjoy the outdoors. Just two miles up the road from d/t Incline makes for easy access to beaches, dining, etc. Very quite neighborhood too!
We had a terrific stay at this lovely home over ski week. The house is beautifully updated and is stocked with anything and everything you could need for a vacation. We loved that we could park our car in the clean and well organized garage, the high end and fully furnished kitchen, comfortable beds, and the two fireplaces, both upstairs and down - perfect for a snowy weekend. The back deck was also terrific, with lots of tall trees and a somewhat secluded feel. The owners have thought of everything to make this a super comfortable and welcoming home. It's in a great location, just a few minutes drive from town and Mt. Rose ski resort. My husband declared this "the best one yet" and we have rented a number of homes in Incline. We hope to come back soon to enjoy this great cabin again.
We had a great winter weekend getaway staying in this home. Patti was very quick to respond and made the process smooth and easy. The rooms were just perfect for us. Our two children, 14 and 11, enjoyed the 2nd room with the bunk beds. The 3rd room was perfect for our college-age niece who came with us. The house was very clean and complete with all the amenities we needed. It was a convenient drive to Mt Rose. We drove to Reno for dinner. The drive was not that short but it was nice, easy, peaceful and scenic. We enjoyed the paninis at Raley's for brunch/breakfast the next day. I highly recommend this home away from home.
Took the guys up for a golf weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed this home. Tons of storage, easy acces to everything. The gourmet kitchen was perfect. Golf courses and casino were 5 minutes away.
