Lake Tahoe is my favorite year round getaway. As a native New Yorker, transplanted to California, I always missed the changing seasons which Lake Tahoe affords just a short drive away. The natural beauty of Lake Tahoe is awe inspiring and the intensity in the colors of the blue sky, forest green pines and clear, pure, transparent lake water is like nothing else on earth.
Owner purchased this Condo in 1995
Why Owner chose Incline Village
Incline Village is a community like no other at Lake Tahoe. It's not only a resort destination but also a family friendly place to live. The town owns two private beaches for exclusive use of Incline residents and guests, two Robert Trent Jones designed golf courses, a state of the art recreation center with tennis courts, indoor Olympic size pool, fitness classes, basketball court, weight room and organized activities for all ages. There are several shopping areas for anything you need, an array of excellent restaurants, a movie theater, a bowling alley, numerous places of worship and excellent schools, not to mention the most scenic and pristine location on the lake.
What makes this Condo unique
I purchased this condo in the last phase of the exclusive McCloud development, brand new, which means this is the newest of any in the entire complex and I got to choose the prime location. The complex is located on 14 acres of land nestled in the pine filled forest and just half a block walking distance to the lake. This is quite unique for lower elevations where open space is at a premium. It is convenient to every amenity Incline has to offer and very accessible in the snow. The enclosed garage, also a unique feature for most condo complexes, avoids shoveling your car out of a snow storm. Because I bought it new, I purchased all of the furniture and accessories in a Tahoe lodge theme to compliment the location. (I didn't furnish it with leftovers from home like you see in some cabins). I am an end unit which means you are not looking into the side of another building when you look out the windows, just a view of trees and Diamond Peak in the distance. The back deck is completely quiet and private with table, chairs and umbrella for sipping morning coffee. The cozy river rock fireplace makes you feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal preparation a snap and there is a barbecue outside for grilling. All of my guests feel right at home and are pleasantly surprised when they walk in the door and realize they made a great choice for their stay at the lake. It's everything they wanted and more!

Our family of 4 rented this condo to be close to the Incline Tennis Center in which I had a tournament to play. We were pleasantly surprised at the close proximity to the courts which was just a few
minutes walking distance. The unit itself was impeccably clean and well stocked to meet our every need. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. We loved the setting as it was very peaceful
and had that woodsy isolated feel. The complex jacuzzi and sauna was just steps away which was also very clean and well maintained. Overall, the accomodations were excellent and our family loved it.
Truly feel home
Since we tried it for the 1st time last year, I told my husband if he wants me to spend 6+ hours in car, and freeze my bony butt off every winter, we HAVE TO stay at this property. You see, I don't ski. Tahoe has been purely for my husband and my son. But this place really makes me feel at home. 5 minutes WALK to the lake, as in Lake Tahoe. The view is breathtaking and the beach is practically deserted. You have the whole lake to yourself. The long walking trail along the lake take you past some of the most gorgeous mansions (think mini Downton Abby). 8 minutes drive to Diamond Peak. 25 minutes to Mount Rose. Excellent restaurants close by (Big Water Grill, Bite). Amazingly high water pressure in the showers which is great after a vigorous walk, or ski. Ann is probably the most detail-oriented property owner there is. She thinks of EVERYTHING. Everything you need in a home away from home, she has it. I only wish she has a rental everywhere I need to go.
Added to our A-list
This high-quality property was an ideal home-away-from-home for our ski weekend - attractive, immaculate, well-appointed, comfortable, and with great access to the slopes, shopping, and dining. It was an excellent value and we plan to return. We arrived after 11:00 p.m., tense from driving through heavy snowfall, chains clanking, but within minutes we were sipping wine by the lovely gas fireplace and loving life again. The next morning, we had a surprise: a winter wonderland, scenic view from the living room windows - tall, snow covered trees, not condos. We realized we'd found the best of both worlds with cleared roads right up to the driveway, but due to the placement of the condo, unobstructed natural views from the cozy living room. When we headed out to ski and saw the proximity to two beaches, we knew we'd found a 4-season treasure. After skiing Northstar and Diamond Peak we went home smiling and comparing calendars to see how soon we can return. The owners have done an outstanding job in every respect and they couldn't have done more to accommodate our schedule and make us feel welcome.
We stayed in this perfect Incline condo for a week. The location is great- right off of Lakeshore- and the amenities are wonderful. The home is very well stocked, it is clean, and has a great patio to enjoy. The owner is so helpful and we felt so comfortable renting from her! We will of course rent again!!!!
My husband and I came up for a wedding so we only got to stay 4 nights. We were so impressed the minute we walked through the door. It was beautifully decorated and fully equipped with pretty much everything. The location of the condo was great...close to everything. And the customer service by the owner was amazing. She sent us maps and brochures of fun activities to do as well as recommended restaurants based upon different prices. She was so helpful and nice. We were pretty busy with the wedding festivities, I wish we could have stayed longer! I highly recommend this Condo to everyone! You won't be disappointed. Shelley W.
Amazing Vacation Rental at Lake Tahoe
This vacation rental unit was very clean, well cared for, comfortable, and very well marked/organized. The owners provided a packet that was very helpful for site seeing and participating in activities around Lake Tahoe. The unit was fully equipped with all kitchen and living items for use and even had toys, beach chairs, coolers, ect. to use to take to the beach. The lake was beautiful and weather perfect for our stay. We had access to Incline Village beaches and rec center. The maps provided were specific for finding the rental unit. Fantastic customer service! We have already recommended this to friends for the future. Best places we saw included Sand Harbor for swimming, snorkeling and water toys; Emerald Bay look out point for site seeing (gorgeous view); Crystal Bay Beach with pool (fun for kids); good Turtle ice cream at little shop across from Christmas Tree Center; drive around lake and site see at all designated landmarks and found some awesome views; parasailing on Kings Beach was a blast!
Walk to the shores of Lake Tahoe and two private beaches. Golf, tennis, rec center, skiing, hiking, biking, casinos and restaurants in town. Home to famous Shakespeare Festival and music at Sand Harbor beach. A+ rated condo and location.
