Why Kaci Fullwood chose Big Bend

The Big Bend region is beautiful. The weather is the best in the country. The town of Marfa is small but contains many art galleries with world class art. You can feel the creative energy in the air. Wonderful friendly people, as well. And THIS casita has the best energy in all of West Texas! Come sleep here and find out for yourselves! This place is heavenly!

What makes this house unique

Right across the street from Memo's Mexican Restaurant! Roll out of bed, walk across the street and enjoy huevos rancheros with hot coffee! Sit on the front porch and make like a lizard in the sun, while watching West Texas gently drive past. Private, cozy and delightful!

Cute, cozy, comfortable and cool!

Had a great 4 nite stay at Mike and Kaci's authentic adobe casita. All the comforts of home were provided, and our hosts were warm and friendly. The casita has a colorful funky, artsy vibe that fits in with what Marfa is all about. There is an outdoor patio to drink your coffee and watch hummingbirds flit about. Everything is within walking/ biking distance-- good food, good music and great art. Kaci suggested the scenic drive through Ft. Davis back to Midland airport-- what spectacular views! We will come back to Marfa this way always! Thank you!

Great location, lovely owners.

We absolutely loved Marfa. Our casita was perfect for our 3 night stay. It was clean, and welcoming. We were able to walk to the galleries and shops and many restaurants. It is a quick ride to the Chinati Foundation and walking distance to the Judd Family in town tours.

Kaci and Michael live next door and were helpful suggesting highlights of town. They invited us to use the backyard for grilling or sitting around the fire pit. They also welcomed us to join them.

The casita is a one bedroom, one bath home with a fairly large kitchen. We found coffee for the first night and on request Kaci supplied us with more for the rest of our stay.

Nice people.

Wonderful, Marfa stay!

My husband and I stayed two nights this February. The owners were accessible and very nice! The house was exceptionally clean, bed comfortable, and coffee wonderful! Heated bath floor was a plus! Very nice stay and reasonably priced.

Owner's Response: Thanks for being such great guests! We hope you will join us in Marfa again, when your schedule permits. The weather has turned so fine, it is like Springtime here! Again thank you for your business and your kindness.

Texan Couple

We stayed in one side of the duplex on July 3, 2015, and enjoyed every minute. The room, bath, kitchen were very clean, the patio was relaxing and we never even heard the guests staying in the other side. Adobe walls, cool tile floors, shade on the patio - so very enjoyable. Our arrival was very smooth and easy. Marfa is a friendly, peaceful place to stay and this casita was so comfortable to return to. We will be back.

Peaceful, Beautiful, Comfortable

We felt at home immediately, and the owner was charming, delightful, informative. First question is, where did you buy the awesome linens and towels? We thoroughly enjoyed the porches, kitchen, living room, bath, and neighborhood. Enjoyed it so much I'm closing on a house the end of May. TopTip: the best breakfast in town is just across the street!
