Pat Robertson purchased this cottage in 1978

Why Pat Robertson chose Tofino

It is my honor and a privilege to be the gatekeeper of this beautiful piece of property for many years. Sharing with others allows you to experience the unique and wonderful spirit of the Pacific Northwest. After a days adventure the cottage is your home away from home.

What makes this cottage unique

Cozy, creative and private with lovely views out of all windows into lush west coast gardens and soaring cedars.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We are so sad that we have to move to different accommodation here in Tofino. This is such a sweet house. Our family enjoyed the fire pit (smores), grilled salmon we actually caught and cooked on the grill outside, rode bikes up and down the bike path to get gelato and chocolates. This place is awesome. Wish we could stay longer!

Quirky, cosy, rustic cabin

My family and I loved this cabin. Great location - close to town and beaches. Well-equipped. Lots of thoughtful, practical touches and perfect for unwinding. Booking and check-in processes really simple. Would highly rcommend.

A perfect trip to Tofino

  • 5 of 5

The Heron House was a key part of our fabulous trip to Tofino. The location was excellent, easy biking distance to the beaches, town and the Wildside commercial area. Nestled in a cedar grove, the house is private and quiet. Walking down to the sound with a cup of coffee was a great way to start the morning. Pat is a good communicator and very responsive.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stay in Heron House for a week in January. We had only planned to stay four nights and ended up staying six because we loved the house and Tofino so much! It was perfect for two people and would be great for a few close friends or a family. The house was well-stocked with kitchen utensils, food staples, puzzles and games, books, and movies. Loved soaking in the claw foot tub after surfing or hiking, and then sitting in front of the fire with a pint of Tofino brew.
