About Rob & Pamela Lawrence

Rob & Pamela and our two children Chase & Britney. We live in Las Vegas, Nevada and we love going up to Duck Creek, it is so peaceful and relaxing just to get away from the city for a few days. In the summer time we like to fish, hike and the kids love bringing their friend up to go ATVing. In the winter we also love to ski and snow board at Brian Head.

Rob & Pamela Lawrence purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Rob & Pamela Lawrence chose Duck Creek Village

We have been going up to Duck Creek for the past 25 years. We love to camp and in 2006 we were camping (and as you know you can get a down pour of rain), so we started driving around and found Duck Creek Pines. We fell in love with the location and started thinking we should build a cabin. Our dream finally came true and it is just beautiful. And now we are blessed to share it with others.

Rusticate in luxury!

  • 5 of 5

This home is tediously cared for, and the owners provide so many amenities that you feel like an honored guest. It is huge! It is beautiful! We loved that there were so many places to lounge, relax, and congregate. Downstairs in the cushy seats in front of the fire, around the giant dining table, in the basement family room, and upstairs in the loft gameroom. We used all the rooms and spread out! Perfect place for two families with kids. There were so many places for kids to sleep - bunkbeds, couches, etc. When one of us got sick, we found a thoughtful basket of first aid supplies. We had easy access to trails, a great mud room, and a chef's kitchen. So everyone was happy. We will definitely be back!

This cabin is awesome

  • 4 of 5

This cabin is perfect for large groups. We had so much fun, large kitchen so we all helped cook and eat of course. The weather is perfect for summer heat escape. But warm enough to spend time at the lake. We went to the camp ground at the lake with lots of table and space, but make sure you take water shoes for all the rocks. Which the kids had a great time throwing into the lake. We took a large raft to float around and had so much fun. Went back to a great cabin and played games, we got away from individual games and actually played games together wow! Thanks again for sharing a great place to stay.

family vacation

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is amazing, pictures do not do it justice. Very roomy with several seating areas, many bathrooms and bedrooms. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Very clean and comfortable place to stay. Enjoyed the fire pit and watching the deer.. I only wish rental cabins would totally empty the refrigerator.

Best Cabin Ever

  • 5 of 5

We have been renting Rob and Pamela's cabin for about 5 years for our family reunion. It just seems to get better each year. Photo's don't show the great fire pit and the horseshoe area. Our kids and grandkids won't even consider anything else.

A bit of Heaven!

  • 5 of 5

We all loved your cabin!! It was so very peaceful, and the second we walked in, we immediately felt at home! We had 19 people in our party and everyone had enough beds and baths to meet all of our needs. You had stocked the kitchen/laundry room/bedrooms and baths with everything that was needed too, thank you. Your cabin is decorated beautifully with many upgrades, which made it feel truly luxurious. We loved having a fire pit, and used it every night! The kids loved your game room and eating outside at your tables every meal. We had a great time doing lots of things. We went spot lighting for animals late at night, we rented a pontoon boat and fished all day, went on hikes, zip lined, bow and arrow target shooting, and sight seeing. We just ran out of days to do more. Pamela thank you for opening up your beautiful home for us and others to enjoy. You were wonderful to work with and we hope to rent from you again. Bless you for your generosity.

Cool Cabin

  • 5 of 5

It was a really cool cabin at this time of year. But, it has a wonderful pellet stove and a great fireplace that kept the cabin nice and warm until night time when the fireplace cooled and the pellet stove kept it just right for cool sleeping with it freezing outside. There is plenty of wood and pellets to keep things as warm as you would like. The heat never did have to come on.

The cabin is stocked with all the utensils, pans, bowls, and dishes that were needed. The stove is great and the fridge is large.

There are plenty of beds, linen, and towels. We brought our clothes and personal items and it was home for three days. The mattress in the master was the best bed that we have slept on away from home. They were three great nights.

We had 4 vehicles and a flat bed trailer with a Razor. We had plenty of room for parking.

The cabin was clean and ready for us when we arrived and was easy to keep clean while we were there.

The only down side to our stay was that we were about 2 weeks late for all of the fall colors. We were at the tail end. We will have to go earlier next year.
