Bon Bini at Cas di Flor,
Our house is close to everything that matters: beach, restaurants, shopping and casinos but it also offers a quiet place to relax around the pool with only the birds to share it with you when flying overhead.
This is our house and we we want to share it with you. We finished buiding our House in January 2009 and it offers all the ameneties you would want in your own house: pool, patio with covered porch, gas BBQ, modern kitchen, comfortable beds, internet with wi-fi, cable TV, I-pod docking station, beach chairs and lots more.
This year we added a pallapa with pavers around the pool for more shade and a nice place to relax. We also put some sliding glass doors on one side of the patio to block off the wind when you are sitting there to make it perfect. Aruba is all about outdoor living! We also put in some new curtains on all windows for a more complete look.
The only thing you won't find in your own house is the perfect Aruban weather!
We enjoyed this villa so much we returned for a second time this year. There were four of us and this villa met the things we were looking for. It is in a fairly new neighborhood which is very nice. The villa is clean and well equipped. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms but not in the kitchen/living room. We did not find that a problem because we enjoy keeping the windows opened and the screen door going out onto the patio and with the ceiling fans it created the tropical atmosphere we flew there for!. There are plenty of spare towels and sheets or if you prefer to do laundry there is a laundry room which was nice. The property manager, Francois is the best. He's minutes away if you need anything at all. We love having the privacy of the villa and having our own private pool but if we want to go to one of the many beautiful beaches for swimming or snorkeling, it's just a short drive. There's a barbecue grill we enjoyed several evenings which saved big bucks by eating in. The only thing it does not have is off street parking but in Aruba it does not seem to be a problem to park on the street. Be careful coming out of the pool though onto the tiled patio and also into the house - very slippery when you're wet and can be dangerous. One in our party took a fall so we put towels on the floor in the entryway to remind ourselves to dry our feet. All and all a very nice choice - we were there 2 weeks and miss it already.
****We've been to Aruba several times and each time we like to try a different place to stay. However, we tried to book this home for our next trip in November because we loved everything about it. Unfortunately it was not available in November but we will definitely be back. It's in a new lovely neighborhood that is not too far away from everything. The kitchen was well equipped with good quality items - nothing cheap. The house is very clean and the pool was cleaned twice while we were there. It's important to us for each bedroom to have it's own bathroom and this house does so each guest was not inconvenienced. Very nice all around!
We have been renting houses for over 10 years all over the US and the islands and have taken time to write reviews for a few. The house was exactly as described on the website. It was clean, well stocked, well maintained and very comfortable for our family of four (2 sons - 13 and 10), but could have easily accommodated up to 6 people. Francois was great in communications from the start of the inquiry to the end of our trip. He always responded to questions within 24 hours and was very friendly and helpful with recommendations of places to eat, when to buy food due to holiday closures, and when to head out for the airport. Francois was friendly, open and honest which was much appreciated as it is not always the case when renting a house. The house was a sanctuary away from all the noise and crowds from the hotel areas. It was always quiet with a great breeze in the sun, pool or under the palapa. It close enough to drive to everything you need but far enough away to have a retreat. Although it is tucked away on one of the side streets, it felt very safe as you drove through the little development. You definitely need a car. Since the house is laid out on 1 floor, would be good for those traveling with older or younger family members. We never felt crowded in the house and we spent half our time out by the pool and patio. There is no gate around the pool so those with very young children should be aware. There are AC units for the bedrooms which worked great and we only used at night. The other rooms have ceiling fans which worked great for us during the day. The bathrooms have good water pressure and plenty of hot water. All three bathrooms were clean and had showers so there was never a problem with waiting for one. The pool was perfect size for us, clean and always warm enough. The washer and dryer were new (front loading-I think whirlpool) and worked great and made it possible to be there with a lot less luggage than those staying in hotels. I would highly recommend the house and would choose to stay there again if we go back to Aruba.
We have stayed in many properties at Waterville Estates over the years (since the late 80's) and this is our favorite. We had previously stayed in this house when it had different owners and it was far from perfect, however, the current owners have updated much of the house and everything was very clean and comfortable.
This is a great house for families. The living room is on one floor and the family room is on another, perfect for when you want to relax and have the kids play somewhere else to keep things quiet. We had 10 in our party (two families) and we all had ample beds to sleep in. We even had all the boys sleep in the same room and it was a blast for them as they thought of it as a "sleep-over". We even managed to fit all of us at the large dining room table for meals. The rec center is great as well and the kids enjoyed swimming there.
I would highly recommend staying here. You will not see another property that offers so much for the dollar with owners who truly care about your stay. The only thing I would recommend is to install gates and the foot and top of the stairs. This would be a big help for families with toddlers. Other than that, I would not hesitate to stay again.
We had a fantastic vacation at Cas di Flor. We had outdoor family meals on the patio with adjustable glass doors. We made all our homemade meals in the well-equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue. Fans throughout the house and individually controlled AC in the bedrooms. Top was the outdoor pool and lounge chairs for hanging out around the house. The pool was beautiful at night with the lights and tempted us multiple times for one more night time dip. For the rest we love Aruba with the beautiful public beaches for swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing. Also loved the food variety at the supermarkets: Dutch, American and Spanish goodies.
Thanks to Francois who was en excellent host.

The house is located in an upscale neighborhood of Aruba, half a mile inland from the Marriott Resort and Palm Beach. So you always have the choice either to relax by the pool, enjoy a good BBQ or go out and enjoy some great restaurants, entertainment and people watching. Of course lets not forget the main attraction of Aruba: Palm Beach, Eagle beach & Arashi beach. At Cas di Flor, you are close to everything that matters.
