average rating of 4.4 based on 5 reviews

House very nice..location VERY POOR.

  • 3 of 5

House and porch were very nice...location very poor. Water view was overstated...had to look across a lot of junk to see the water. Neighborhood homes were a mess with very much junk in the yards... real eye sores.

Could not get the TV to work..Kate unable to really help, although she tried. Owners must provide instructions on how to get the TV to work. A Direct TV person on the telephone finally was able to instruct us...after one and a half days of emails, etc. We would not rent this place again. Bill Nace

Relaxing Vacation

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful house and location. It had everything you needed. We got some crabs to steam and they were the biggest we've seen in a long time. We ate them out on the screened-in porch, which was our favorite place to be the entire time. Went to St. Michaels shopping - that was a treat and ate dinner one night in St. Michaels. It was a great vacation and will be back next year.

Great Vacation - Very Relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Tilghman Island - Harbor Cove. Beautiful house...great screened in porch - had steamed crabs out on porch was great! Harrisons Chesapeake House right across the way - swimming, was great. Very relaxing...loved the "Island". Had never been to this area...and it's only 2 hours from home...should have come sooner. Not a lot on the island, but enough. Quant book store, a few restaurants/diner, general store...all within walking distance, and St. Michaels just 30 minutes away. Went on a sailboat tour on the Skipjack Rebecca T. Ruark - located just one street over. We loved it!!!

Ottobrunn, Germany

Such a wonderful vacation!!!

  • 5 of 5

We came from Germany to visit the Eastern Shore and found this beautiful vacation home with plenty of room for all of us (2 adults and 2 children). It is located at the end of a dead end road which gives you beautiful waterviews while having breakfast (or any other meal) on the screened porch. You see the boats coming in and out of the small harbor - just idyllic. Since we stayed there for two weeks we felt very much at home and we didn't miss a single thing. Everything was very clean and neatly furnished. Across the road is a nice swimming pool you can use while staying at the house. That was a special treat for the kids. You have a nice restaurant just across the street with a deck on the water. If we go back to Maryland, we will definitely try to rent this wonderful home again! Thanks for making our stay a perfect and lasting memory!
