I lived and worked in Santa Fe for 17 years and found my career as an artist there. Santa Fe has a charm and 'vibe' that is addictive - one of the most artistically stimulating places in the world - the natural beauty, native Hispanic and Native American heritage, and lovely people permeate this place with positive, creative energy. I bought this house and renovated it thinking I would move back to Santa Fe permanently. Although my work has taken me elsewhere, this house is a treasure and I love to share it. My primary work has been the restoration and renovation of the interiors of several historic churches including the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis 1 block from the historic Santa Fe Plaza as well as San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church on the plaza in Old Town Albuquerque. Google John Alan Design to see some of this work.

Great place in a great location
Beautiful adobe in a great location. The practical: clean, comfortable beds, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, lots of windows and sky lights, well appointed kitchen. The aesthetics: beautiful antiques, a plethora of gorgeous candle sticks, and original art. I learned from Rose, the property manager, that the spectacular piece in the front room was painted by the owner. I enjoyed the outdoor table and chairs. When looking for a rental in the city limits, I will definitely return.
Great family trip
My husband and I stayed with our 3 kids for the new year. We had a great time and the house was perfect. It was in a great location and it had everything we needed. The house is very clean and the beds were comfortable. My kids were tired after long days snowboarding and site seeing so they wanted to eat in often so we used the kitchen many nights and most mornings. The kitchen did not lack anything for us to prepare our meals.
Santa Fe is a great city and we enjoyed exploring it. The kids loved Meow Wolf and spent most of the day there without once saying they were bored. We highly recommend going. Snowboarding was not the great since they have not had any snow but the snow the made was enough for the kids to practice and improve their skills.
Overall, everything was great and we recommend the house and Santa Fe.
You wont be disappointed!
Clean, well stocked, close to everything, comfortable. What else could you ask for. We instantly felt at home. We have nothing negative to say about our stay.
Loved Our Stay
We absolutely loved this retreat....we stayed for a week and it was so close to the Plaza, the Old Railroad Yards and to local attractions! The main area, the kitchen and the bedrooms were just perfect for our family and we even enjoyed the outdoor area during the day! Thanks so much for experience; we will definitely rebook when we come back to New Mexico!
Wonderful accommodations. Very well stocked kitchen. A little far to walk to the plaza but would stay here again.
