Beautifully appointed with custom walnut cabinetry, stained concrete floors, stainless appliances, ultra comfortable beds, and modern, cozy furnishings. When you're ready to venture, there are abundant choices nearby sure to entertain every type of traveler - from fantastic restaurants and boutique shops, to live music, to hike and bike trails.

We live in this neighborhood, we love this neighborhood. Once you've enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Green Door guesthouse, we know you will too!

SWEET DREAMS: Both artfully designed bedrooms feature Queen-Size Beds, Ultra-Comfortable Mattresses, High Thread Count sheets and Organic Cotton Duvets. The Master Bedroom boasts a large Walk-In Closet. In case of extra sleeping requirements, linens and a pillow are provided for the living room sofa.

CHEF'S KITCHEN: Indulge your culinary desires on the gas range, under a beautiful, stainless steel vent hood. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless appliances and everything you need to prepare meals at home. About Dani & Joel

We've lived in Austin since 1999 and we love it. We enjoy traveling (as often as possible) and meeting the travelers that grace our vacation rentals. Our other passions include graphic design, film making, publishing, and wake-surfing on lake Austin.

The eclectic, walking-neighborhood, combined with the classic mid-century lines of the home had us hooked!

The proximity to downtown and South Congress is just one of the area's attractions. The neighborhood has gently rolling hills offering views of downtown, is filled with gorgeous live oak trees, and has many recreation opportunities.

With 10 years of experience, Soco Spaces has always operated in compliance with the city of Austin legal requirements.

The City of Austin requires that Vacation rentals obtain a license for legal operation. Legal operations should have their license number on their listing.

Wonderful to come back to at the end of the day!

My husband and I stayed at the Green Door for a week in April. We travel a lot, and I have to say this was one of my favorite rentals ever. The central location is great for getting around Austin. The reservation process and communications regarding the rental were excellent. The townhouse is very well decorated, spotlessly clean, uncluttered, and very comfortable. It has all the amenities you would want: comfortable beds, nice linens and towels, a well appointed kitchen, an outdoor grill, a nice deck to relax on at the end of the day. The photos and description online are spot on.

The attention to detail by the owners is evident and makes the ambience of this place special. We arrived late at night, and Dani had left lights on for us, with the internet radio playing soft music...a very warm welcome. It was a pleasure to stay here. Kudos to Dani and Joel.

The Green door was very clean and neat would stay there again. Recommend this group of rentals owner worked with me and made my stay perfect, neighborhood was quite nice and vintage. Thanks Dani

Another fabulous stay at the Green Door

We just returned from our second monthly stay at the Green Door and, once again, we loved it. The property was immaculate, well laid out and comfortable. The location was amazing (close to South Congress and excellent bike trails, very peaceful and safe). I worked from the second bedroom and frequently took walks around the neighborhood (sometimes late at night), something I definitely could not do in Wisconsin in January! The deck was sunny for most of the day. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was well-outfitted for our needs. We loved shopping at H.E.B. and eating breakfast and dinner at El Borrego de Oro on South Congress right before the freeway. The Green Door had everything we need and nothing we DON'T need, just as I wish our REAL house did!

Wonderful property in the perfect spot !

Wonderful stay ! This was our first time to Austin and we couldn't have found a better place to stay! The property was exactly as described, clean and had everything that we needed to make it feel homey.

We were within walking distance to South Congress and great food , coffee and entertainment. The proximity down to the river-walk and the parks was awesome - which was perfect for that morning run.

Absolutely would recommend this property and plan to come back and stay again !

A mid century gem in SoCo!

In my effort to avoid hotels during my travels, I look for quiet and unique niche properties to visit...this was just the place. The Green Door is exceptionally close to Congress, Barton Springs and all of downtown Austin. Freeway access is convenient, while the house is quiet and cozy in a wonderful neighborhood. Dani & Joel were exceptional in communication and even accommodating my late night arrival. This is my new stay when visiting Austin!

I rented this property for a holiday getaway with friends and it exceeded our expectations.

1. It was clean and peaceful.

2. It's near fantastic eateries and nightlife.

3. It was very comfortable and felt like "home".

We loved all of the restaurant and shopping recommendations. We can't wait to to come back and try more.

Places like this are the reason we love to travel!
