SWEET DREAMS: Both artfully designed bedrooms feature Queen-Size Beds, Ultra-Comfortable Mattresses, High Thread Count sheets and Organic Cotton Duvets. The Master Bedroom boasts a large Walk-In Closet. In case of extra sleeping requirements, linens and a pillow are provided for the living room sofa.

CHEF'S KITCHEN: Indulge your culinary desires on the gas range, under a beautiful, stainless steel vent hood. We've lived in Austin since 1999 and we love it. We enjoy traveling (as often as possible) and meeting the travelers that grace our vacation rentals. Our other passions include graphic design, film making, publishing, and wake-surfing on lake Austin.

The eclectic, walking-neighborhood, combined with the classic mid-century lines of the home had us hooked!

The proximity to downtown and South Congress is just one of the area's attractions. The neighborhood has gently rolling hills offering views of downtown, is filled with gorgeous live oak trees, and has many recreation opportunities.

Wonderful to come back to at the end of the day!

My husband and I stayed at the Green Door for a week in April. We travel a lot, and I have to say this was one of my favorite rentals ever. The central location is great for getting around Austin. The reservation process and communications regarding the rental were excellent. The townhouse is very well decorated, spotlessly clean, uncluttered, and very comfortable. It has all the amenities you would want: comfortable beds, nice linens and towels, a well appointed kitchen, an outdoor grill, a nice deck to relax on at the end of the day. The photos and description online are spot on.

The attention to detail by the owners is evident and makes the ambience of this place special. We arrived late at night, and Dani had left lights on for us, with the internet radio playing soft music...a very warm welcome. It was a pleasure to stay here. Kudos to Dani and Joel.

Tranquil haven

The Green Door is the PERFECT place to stay during a trip to Austin. A short walk or even shorter cab to South Congress and then a short cab to downtown means it is perfectly located (example $6 to Rainey Street). Clean, modern, quiet and in a charming little neighbourhood. It was ideal for two couples and meant that we had our own little lounge and kitchen area which you wouldnt get at a hotel. We were super impressed at the high quality of everything from the towels to the kettle. I couldnt recommend this place enough.

Great location just a few minutes drive from South Congress, with its great variety of shops and restaurants. And also convenient for the worlds biggest Whole Foods on N Lamar!

The Green Door is clean, comfortable and well maintained and a perfect fit for our family of four. Kitchen is adequately stocked, not that you need to do much cooking with such great dining options in Austin.

Good laundry facilities.

Good selection of TV channels through Google fiber. Reliable Wi-Fi.

Dani and Joel are a pleasure to deal with. Very responsive if you need something. The booking system and check in- check out process is very efficient.

This is our second Soco Spaces stay and I'm sure it wont be our last. Great value for money for a family.

Clean, beautifully decorated, great owners

This property is a great one. Decorated nicely- kitchen has everything you need. Dani was extremely helpful and in constant contact as needed. This was our first visit to Austin and I mapped out the area it was a bit far to walk to and from this location several times a day (especially in this June heat and humidity). We ended up renting a car - pretty necessary right now especially due to lack of lyft and uber. Get me app was a little wonky and cabs were not dependable at all.

Laundry on site was a nice perk when I got a stain on my shirt!

Perfect Property and Awesome Owners

First, Dani and Joel are caring and incredible to work with for any need you may have. They love what they do and it shows. The house is so clean and comfortable. The sofa and master bed mattress are firm and comfy and the kitchen is perfect to cook your meals in an open, sunlit room.

The location cannot be beat - close to everything - restaurants, downtown, Palmer Center, Whole Foods, stores etc. yet so very nestled on a quiet street.

Lovely, peaceful, comfy, and perfect location!
