This property is quite lovely, with fabulous views of Kailua Bay, Kona Town, and Hualalai mountain. It is situated directly across the street from the ocean, with access to many nearby beaches and water activities. 7 stories above Kona Town, you can walk downstairs or take one of two convenient elevators to street level and find yourself in the center of some of the best dining, shopping and nightlife the Big Island has to offer.
The condo is 2 stories and features 2 private lanais, one off the dining area on the main floor, and a private rooftop sundeck on the top floor. Both have ocean views. During the famous Ironman competition, you can view portions of the run, swim and bike events from either lanai! There is common sun deck on our floor, and a swimming pool and BBQ lanai on the ground floor.
The master bedroom and bathroom are newly remodeled, they are on the Upper Sundeck level looking East out onto the lanai, where you will catch breathtaking sunrises. There is a big screen TV serving both the Master bedroom and adjoining sitting area. The guest bedroom is on the main level and features a jet-bath, granite counters, and marble floors. The half bath with shower is also on the main level, and houses the washer/dryer as well.
The kitchen has been remodeled with granite counters, stainless steel appliances and a marble floor which opens into the dining/living area, and gives the chef a lovely penthouse view of Kona Town.
This condo is perfect for one couple, but can be suitable for 2 couples traveling together, please note the rate is $250 per night when there are 4 renters. It is not suitable for children, due to the steep open stairs, the open railings, and the high-end decor.
There is an electric keyboard for the musician, bring your own music!
This is the perfect rental for those of you who want to be right in the middle of all of Kona's activity, yet you can escape to the privacy of your penthouse in seconds! Truly a lovely choice.
We are both artists and musicians, and live on the northern tip of the Island in the little town of Hawi.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2004
Location! It is right in downtown Kona, across from the ocean and walking distance to everything you need. The Volcano, South Point, Kona Coast hotels and beaches, Parker Ranch in Waimea, Hawi up North and even Hilo are within a days driving distance from here. Costco is nearby, as well as theaters, galleries, churches, museums, coffee farms, and important historical sites.
We love being above it all, being able to look down on all the activity in the center of town, yet enjoy the privacy of our property and lanais. It takes 2 minutes to get downstairs and walk into the best shopping, dining and nightlife on the Island. The ocean is across the street, the farmers market is a block away, the Pier is a 5 minute walk away. There are boat rides, parasail rides, cultural sites, galleries and much more right at your fingertips.
Words cannot describe our delight in the condo! It had all the comforts of home, and a beautiful view, right in the centre of Kona town.......
My wife and I lucked out finding this condo , the pictures are pretty much right on of the condo . The couch cushions were replaced while we were here so now everything here is pretty much complete . The beds are very comfortable and there is a washer and dryer so you can pack lite . I do have to say one thing negative and it has nothing to do with the Condo , it is humid as HE** here . Kristi is very pleasant and very easy to deal with . One last thing it is very easy to walk around here and there is lots to do locally but a vehicle is need for seeing the sites.
Attractive unit, great kitchen. Master bedroom comfortable altho only a Queen bed, wonderful to have air conditioning there, which was really important when hot, but it doesn't air condition the rest of the unit. The sofa was very uncomfortable, as if it was broken. Not comfortable to sit on. There was only one narrow and high table on the deck, which was nice, but no table or even a desk inside. No place to gather around to play a game etc. Loved the pool, perfect temperature. Great location, walking distance to restaurants, etc. Need to drive to beaches. We rented a car. Some units facing the ocean (this didn't) were less expensive, got better breezes, but no a/c. Could use ceiling fans on main floor esp living room and second bedroom. No door to second bedroom; it's open, would have no privacy. Liked the number of bathrooms, providing beach towels, etc.
By far the best condo that we have used in Kona! Walk all of Kona and short drives to beaches, snorkeling and boats. The owners are very easy to get along with and exceptionally friendly. The condo is perfect for a couple with both a lanai and sun deck. We will be returning!
Exactly as advertised. Everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Beach towels, snorkels, cooler and boogie boards were much appreciated. Awesome sunset views from the balcony. Pool was well maintained and at a perfect temp. Would definitely rent again.
We rented the condo first two weeks of March, 2015. It was perfect for us. Great downtown location in Kona if we wanted to get out for meals or whatever in Kona. Excellent central location to get to beaches, Walmart, Target, Safeway. The condo itself was very nice and comfortable and a pleasure to return to after a long day of adventure. There were a couple of coolers, boogie boards available. Nice pool even though we never got a chance to enjoy it we were so busy. Kitchen and appliances top notch with everything we needed. Sunsets we completely enjoyed. The parking space and location, very convenient.
Would definitely stay again if we came back to Kona. The place sets the bar pretty high to anything else we looked at.
This is the perfect location for a vacation in Kona, Top floor, 2 lanai's, extremely comfortable and walk or bike anywhere within Kona. A very nice pool and the other residents are very friendly. We were invited to a Pu Pu party at the pool on our first night there. The condo is beautiful and the owners very easy to get along with.

We have a keyboard in the condo for those of you who like to play music. We ski on the Big Island! One hour drive from Kona, November - April, most years.
