Great place for a quick stay
The place had everything that I needed. No complaints.
As a "city of wild horses" Dülmen is well known far beyond the borders of North Rhine-Westphalia. A few kilometers west of the city, the only remaining wild horse train on the European continent is located - in the Merfelder Bruch, a sprawling bog and heathland.
On arrival, stress and hectic rush away from the visitor, the Münsterland park landscape unfolds its beneficial effects. Extensive meadows and forests invite to be explored: on foot, on the bike, with the covered wagon or the double-decker bus - but in any case with a maximum of leisure.
Especially cyclists will find a real paradise in and around Dülmen: A large number of well-marked bike trails allow both trips on your own and a varied offer guided guided tours. Whether you want to visit the wild horses in the Merfelder Bruch or follow in the footsteps of the blessed Anna Katharine Emmerick - there is something for everyone on the cycling tour of the city of Dülmen.
