Quaint Home in Rural Setting - Peaceful - Saltwater Pool, & Wifi

Bedrooms 5
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

House, 5 Bedrooms + Day bed, 2 bathrooms, porch, quiet (Sleeps up to 12)

Behind the simple exterior of this country home, lies a beautifully refurbished interior, with modern amenities including WiFi. Our house, set in 115 acres of peace and tranquility, is the ideal place to unwind and refresh in the natural beauty of Southeast Tennessee.

On the main floor of this five-bedroom home you will find an open, kitchen-dining-sitting area, two full bathrooms - with travertine stone floors and a bedroom (2 twins). Upstairs there is an additional sitting area to read, chat or play games and four bedrooms. The house sits on a hill, between fields and woodland, with porches on two floors to admire the views and take in a sunset.

You might choose to linger over an old-fashion breakfast, stroll along the nature trails, swim in the saltwater pool, picnic beside the creek, or perhaps spend a relaxing evening around a campfire, enjoying the brilliant starry skies.

You may see llamas, a donkey, goats, alpacas, chickens, ducks and geese as you stroll around the land. From the porch you may spot deer grazing in the morning as well as a variety of other local wildlife. It is a remarkable area for bird watching too!

Our large saltwater pool, is usually open from early - mid May until early October. This pool, which is 25 yards in length, is shared with other families who live on the 115 acres.

We are always happy to work with you to provide what is needed to make your stay just right.

Daughter's Wedding

  • 5 of 5

We found the volunteer house to be comfortable and peaceful. There was plenty of room for everybody and beds for all. Everything we needed was in the house, from dishes to extra linens and towels. Hillary was very sweet and made us feel right at home. We live in a city so it was nice to get away and see all the stars and friendly wildlife. Family joined us from Florida and Tennessee. We all had a great time. Our daughter's wedding was beautiful and she is making TN her home. I would highly recommend this rental for a large gathering.

Private, spacious, peaceful

  • 5 of 5

Cute older house that has plenty of beds for a big family. We cooked the entire weekend and had everything we needed-just had to stick fridge. Both bathrooms downstairs. King beds and all but two twins upstairs. The kids loved the pool and floats were provided. You can the see pool from the kitchen window and front porch which was great. Closest grocery store was the Piggly Wiggly-5 min away (not great for fresh produce). Ingles was the next- 20 min away. Hubby liked watching the wildlife from the front porch and the fact that the home was very private. Downside was being an hour from Chattanooga and 30 min from Sweetwater (Lost Sea Adventure). We would definitely return and owners were very accommodating and helpful. Living room small but with open kitchen it works.
