We had a wonderful trip to Washington, DC for Spring Break with our kids. Their first time to DC. We stayed in Diana's fantastic condo in Foggy Bottom. Really the perfect area. Easy to access, plenty of amenities around and close to so many sites. We ended up using the Metro and Uber more than walking just because of the cold and snow that unexpectedly hit, but on a nice day, so many things are really not that far that you can easily walk.
The condo was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The only thing I'd mention, and I think it's been mentioned previously, is it is located in the George Washington University area and there are students who live next door. One night there was a party, not crazy loud, but could hear all the talking through the walls. Had to use some headphones to drown it out and get to sleep. That wouldn't keep us from staying here again, we'd likely just bring some ear muffs in case that happened again. And it was only one night that it was a little loud.
Loved it. Would stay here again.
Good location near metro and other places to get around. Comfortable base for our family. Neighbors were GW college students who had a party one night, but quiet the rest of our stay.
Lots of amenities available to us that helped (shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, etc.).
The townhome is well-located, comfortable, well-furnished. Diana was very responsive to a minor item that needed to be corrected the evening we arrived. She is friendly and helpful. If we have a need for a place like this in DC again, we'll likely stay here again.
The town home was adorable nice location and comfortable beds and furnishings. We would stay again.
We had an excellent stay in Diana's place. Communication was excellent and checking in and out simple. Beds were super comfy and quality appliances throughout. 2 bathrooms was excellent and so close to metro. We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely recommend Diana's property in Foggy Bottom.
