Great home, great location@

  • 5 of 5

This our 2nd stay at the Fish Inn on Upper Hat Creek. Perfect size for our small family. Large, fenced yard for our german shepherd, too. The house has always been very clean and has had everything we needed. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Old Station. It is close to excellent fishing, hunting and hiking trails. Or, as I prefer, a wonderful, peaceful location to just relax and rejuvenate. Thank you Joann and Ray for a wonderful home!

Great Cabin, Great Hosts

  • 5 of 5

Such a great place for a vacation! Joann and Ray have filled this cabin with all the comforts of home. From the well stocked, well equipped kitchen, to the fire pit in the back yard, they've thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. We spent our days hiking in Lassen Volcanic National Park, and our evenings relaxing in the comfortable living room. The trail at the back of the house follows Hat Creek and is certainly a place to see during your stay! It's worth noting that the local restaurant has recently ceased dinner service, and plan accordingly. Our hosts greeted us on arrival and made us welcome. We'll certainly get in touch with Joann and Ray again should our paths lead us back to Lassen!

Paradise in the Mountains and Creekside

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this charming Fish Inn is PERFECT. The kitchen contained everything and more than we needed for making all meals during our one week stay. We enjoyed long walks along the lovely Hat Creek right outside the back gate, providing many opportunities for catching fish. And, sleeping in a super comfortable bed with all windows wide open, listening to the sound of the wind in the tree tops, the gurgling/babbling creek - totally exceeded our expectations. Already checking our calendar to book a much longer stay next year!!
