This home features abundant views of Flathead lake, mission mountains, and city lights. It's on 4 fenced acres. Large enough so you can bring your own horse. Located on the property is a private apple orchard. There is also a play house, swing and slide for the kids at heart. If you like to roast marshmallows by the campfire, there is a large fire pit in the back yard. Large decks surround the house along with a large deck on the second floor off the family room. Seating for 6 people for outside dinning. This is a perfect place for family reunions, graduations, girls or boys only retreats, or any large gathering. Perfect for families with children.

10 family members stayed here for my son's wedding in August. The house was great and accomodated all of us beautifully. More people could have stayed comfortably. The property has a great view of the lake and Polson (really nice at night with all the lights!).

Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you to the owner for providing us great accommodations that the whole family enjoyed for this special trip!

Great Vacation Week

We had a great vacation week in this house. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The views were fantastic and we loved that we were just 5 minutes from town.

Stayed in this home in July. Pros were the space in this house is good. We each had plent of room to spread out and not feel we were on top of each other. Cons were unkept landscaping, they advertised a lovely front garden, it was mostly weeds, and a playhouse for the kids, but the kids wouldn't go in because it was too dirty and filled with spiders. They also advertised a garden where you could pick fruit and vegies, but that was all weeds as well. Grass needed to be mowed as well. Our towles were wet and sour smelling when we arrived. Used bars of soap in th showers was sort of gross. There was some quirky notes such as how to keep the house cool but it would have taken all day to do so. Open this window at this time, close this window at another....etc. Other notes about water that backs up in the sink and what to do. The house was left quite clean, and the kitchen was left spotless. They charged us $20.00 because we ran the dishwasher before leaving but did not empty just a few dished from breakfast that morning. Final thoughts are that you can rent a home here close to the water for almost same price with better attention to detail. Just felt that for what we were paying it should have been a little better kept.

Owner's Response: The property was unfortunatly not kept up to my standards in regards to weeding, lawn care and household cleanliness. Due to these problems the people paid to take care of these responsibilities have been terminated and new contractors hired, as well as our own personal travel to remedy problems reported, and what we would expect. It is unfortunate that the previous renters were billed for not emptying the dishwasher, but it was stipulated in the contract and the contract was upheld. The garden was not planted this year due to snow in June, but the strawberries are still viable and producing fruit. The apple trees and pear tree are producing but will not be ripe until early fall. The playhouse is outdoors and is subjuct to the vagaries of weather but has been sprayed for spiders. None were noted at spraying but old cobwebs were present. Other properties listed for rental on the lake are available, but large parties would have difficulty finding adequate lodging and the cost is significantly higher. When I have leave from my duty station in Allbuquerque, NM, this is where I spend my vacation. The majestic Mission Mountains on the east with the Flathead lake at their feet, forested foothills and grasslands to the south and west, and a perfect position to relax and enjoy family time.

Additional persons over the maxium number of 14 will be charged $20.00 per person per day.
Half down is required when booking to hold reservation. Total amount due 30 days prior to arrival. Refunds are negotiable up to 60 days prior to arrival. A $300.00 cash deposit is also due and will be refunded 14 days after stay. Cleaning fee of $425.00 is required for all rentals. No pets allowed at this time.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
