This is the perfect Ocean Front Sea Ranch getaway! Enjoy a wonderful fire in one of 2 fireplaces while watching the surf crash into our cove. Whether a romantic escape, a family vacation or a small group of friends, this is the place! We welcome your children. No pets please!!!!!

Our private patio has a gas BBQ and Hot Tub with views of the Pacific Ocean. The Master suite has a balcony for that sunset glass of wine.

Easy access to the Bluff Trail. Golf, Tennis and Swimming less than a 5 minute drive. Bring your bikes or your hiking shoes and explore the trails. Abalone diving in the Pacific Ocean as well as Kayaking and SUP on the River. The town of Gualala is 5 minutes away with restaurants, groceries, coffee house, video stores, and quaint shops.

Point Arena Lighthouse is a 45 minute drive with the artsy town of Mendocino another 20 minutes up the Coast! Wineries a short drive away.

Enjoy the game on the 42'' Flat Screen TV via DirectTV (satellite) or watch a favorite movie on the Blue Ray DVD. There are three recreational facilities available as part of your rental: each with a pool, tennis courts and locker room with sauna. Firewood for both fireplaces provided. High quality linens are included. Kitchen is well stocked from Spatulas to Blender.

There is parking for 2 vehicles: One in garage and the other in secluded, shared parking area: right in front of house for easy unloading.

We enjoyed the house immensely and, w/several decades of SR rentals to draw on, it’s lovely to be in a home that shows pride of ownership—nice furnishings, art, etc—even tho it’s a second home & rental. We’re very much looking forward to our birthday/anniversary week return in April. (BTW, the towering surf was absolutely awesome to watch from the LR window seat!)

Totally wonderful!

Caryl's home was absolutely superb. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the Pacific from the window seats, the well stocked kitchen to provide everything we needed for cooking, very clean, an excellent location for bluff top walks, and all the comforts anyone could desire. I hope to return In two or three years!

Always Wonderful

This is our second or third trip to Caryl's ocean retreat. We celebrated our 40th anniversary at this special home enjoying the quiet, the views, the walks, and each other. Of the many venues we could have gone for this memorable occasion, Ocean Knoll was our choice. That says volumes about the experience. No doubt there are other homes with a view, but what elevates Ocean Knoll...is quite simply Caryl, we have never met, but feel as if we know her personally. Caryl ensures Ocean Knoll is well maintained, spic and span, comfortable, and features a kitchen that feels like home with all one needs to dine in. Questions and minor issues are responded to promptly, one has the feeling that she treats all as friends valued guests. Without a doubt a wonderful place to spend special time.

Beautiful views and spacious

Lots of great spots to relax at house. We took advantage of the fire place and watched the stars from the front nook. Every evening, two deer ate grass in front of the house and one day we saw a whale not to far out.

We have stayed several times in this wonderful house where we have celebrated many birthdays and anniversaries.

The location is great (just 5-10 min. drive to Gualala), the views are gorgeous (each room has its own, unique perspective), the house is very comfortable, well appointed and spotless. We really enjoy the master suite, the hot tub, the BBQ, the frequent sightings of wildlife (deer, rabbits, a fox (!), turkey vultures, seagulls, cormorants, pelicans, red-billed oystercatchers, seals, whales..) and the walks along the shore.

We can't wait to go back!
