I am offering a two bedroom suite, but should you wish smaller or larger accommodations, please inquire about our one and three bedroom as well as all presidential suites. BE SURE TO INQUIRE ABOUT POSSIBLE LOWER PRICES THAN WHAT ARE BEING OFFERED!!!
This Gold Crown/Five-Star Resort is renown for its luxurious accommodations. Wyndham Grand Desert provides unprecedented amenities. For your pleasure, there are two beautiful pools as well as a Nautilus fitness center. If you are looking for a plain, standard-type facility, this is not for you. This resort is just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and near the city rail system. After visiting the casinos, relax back in your high roller-style suite.
So much to do from a gondola ride in Venice to a roller coaster ride in New York or even visit the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Las Vegas Strip offers it all. After the casino visits, take a day trip to the Hoover Dam or see the Grand Canyon by helicopter or walk in Death Valley. As with all my Gold Crown resorts, this resort, if desired, offers planned activities for the children as well as for the adults.
Just pick up the phone and let the concierge desk handle all your dinner and entertainment arrangements.
This unit is priced for any budget.
Owner may substitute similar suite or upgrade upon availability.
My wife and family love to vacation in Las Vegas. This location offers so much to everyone in the family. This location is like a home away from home but with a five star quality.
Jay H. Brown purchased this condo in 2003
Las Vegas is a location for all to enjoy. I or my guests always enjoy the variety and nearby sites that can be seen within a resonable distance from the Grand Desert. This location is also very convenient to the CONVENTION CENTER for my business clients.
Staying at the Grand Desert gives access to a gold crown 5 star facility that is uncomparable to other locations. The amenities are beyond compare. The facility offers 24 hr security as well as a concierge service. The activity staff offers scheduled entertainment for children and young teens.
My husband and I along with our 4 boys (6-13 years old) just stayed at this fabulous family friendly resort! The property is very clean and in beautiful condition. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, but, keep in mind they will try to sell you a time share or their vacation club. The property is not far off the strip which worked out great for our family. Our only complaint is that we stayed only 2 days. The owner, Jay, was great to work with.
We stayed here in January during CES. This location worked great for what we needed. It's convenient to the convention center and Strip, is easy to get in and out of with a car, and has clean, comfortable suites with great amenities. Really the whole resort is very well maintained. The inner part with the pools and palms is beautiful day or night - a great area to relax. Also have to commend the entire staff here, they were all very friendly and professional. Would recommend to anyone looking for lodging in Vegas with a great combination of location, amenities, and price.
I have stayed at the Wyndham Grand Desert many times over the past few years and it's still a favorite. It's “Off the Strip” and away from the craziness of Las Vegas Strip nightlife ... not even a slot machine so it's ideal for someone that wants evening peace and quiet. The stays have been exceptional with firm comfortable beds, new sheets, soaking tubs, roomy showers. And the exceptionally clean and neat rooms with sitting areas, flat screen TVs in each bedroom and the living room. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area which can seat at least 8, plus bar stools in front of the granite kitchen counters. Outside there are hot tubs and three swimming pools, chaise lounges and chairs around the swimming areas. A putting green is juxtaposed to the main pool. Also, there is a "tiki bar” where you can enjoy your drinks between two beautiful pools. Other great amenities here are the AT&T provisioned WiFi, ample on-site parking, and a frequent shuttle to the Strip, all of which are free.
Booking with Jay has always been an easy and flawless process. I highly recommend him and this property to anyone interested in an exceptional place to stay in Las Vegas that’s affordable, comfortable and very enjoyable without the stress. I look forward to staying there again this March!
Jay was easy to work with, prompt with communication and very friendly. We had a fantastic girl's trip in Vegas. The apartment was beautiful, clean, fresh and new feeling. The kitchen had everything we needed in it to cook for our group. The pool was awesome and location couldn't have been better. You can walk to the strip...or drive and park at any of the hotels. My only complaint was the checkout time. 10am is VERY EARLY IN VEGAS!!! They do NOT offer late check-out as a service either. They told me I would have to pay per hour past 10am and had the maid there exactly at 10 to ensure we were out the door. Other than this harsh reality on our last day...great facility. I would stay here again.
We had an exceptionally great experience with this owner. The property was everything we expected, and more! The owner was a pleasure to work with. Next time we visit Las Vegas, this will be our first choice!
This was a great option for a group of seven of us in April 2014. To give you an idea of who we are in context of enjoying the hotel, the seven of us range in ages 28 to 42, with a mixture of males and females, couples and singles. Most of us enjoy a little debauchery (it is Vegas after all), so we aren't asleep by midnight, but can't make it until 4 am every night.
We stayed in a two-bedroom, two-bath room and there was plenty of space. It looked as though the suite had recently been updated (décor, appliances, furniture). Check-in took a bit longer than expected (could check in at 3 pm, but didn't get into the room until 5:30 pm), but this was the only drawback of the stay and was a minor one at that.
My top raves for this hotel are:
- The price. For seven of us for four nights it was only around $750 total. That freed up so much more spending money for the booze, food and gambling.
- The staff was genuinely polite. Anytime you pass a member of the staff, they greet you. I was thinking since it is a timeshare, we would be hounded with sales pitches, but this didn't happen. Upon check-in I was informed of the timeshare info breakfast, but there was no pressure to partake. And I was approached once more while walking through hotel grounds, but again there wasn't anything unpleasant about it.
- If you rent a car, parking is free and there was plenty of it. We spent one day making the quick 45-minute drive to Red Rocks to Hike and also went to some more local restaurants outside the Strip area.
- The shuttle to Harrah's makes getting places convenient. The hotel is not on the Strip and is about a 10-15 walk to it. Depending on the time of year (we went in April) and if it isn't too hot yet, this walk is pretty manageable for most. Since you're always going to be far from somewhere on the Strip, being a few long blocks off of it wasn't a big deal for us.
- I personally like that there is not a casino or the loads of bars and restaurants that some of the massive Vegas hotels have. This way, you make sure to explore more places.
The owner, Jay, is great to work with when booking. He took the time to call me and chatted for about 20 minutes. He gave me all kinds of info on the property and recommendations of places to go. And he is prompt with responding to emails. Thanks Jay!
