Welcome to our Kauai Paradise. We just completed a total Kitchen & Bathroom renovation update August 5 2015. We are located on the South Shore of Kauai (Poipu area). Kauai has been called Hawaii's most beautiful Island, and we totally agree. Kauai is known for its tropical greenery and fantastic beaches. Kauai is nicknamed the garden isle.
Our Condo is adjacent to Prince Kuhio Park and within 20 yards of the Ocean. We started coming to Kauai in 2000 and first stayed at the Prince Kuhio Resort. We loved the Island and the Condo so much, we returned each year, renting the same unit. In 2007 we were lucky to purchase this beautiful condo from the prior owners. A lot of love and care has gone into this condo and we intend to carry on that tradition. It is our intention to make our renters feel at home when they stay at our condo and enjoy the Beauty and Aloha spirit of Kauai.
The Grounds include a beautiful Tropical Garden / Koi pond / secluded swimming pool and BBQ area. The complex has a Laundry room on the first floor with 4 large washers and 6 dryers.
There are 71 units in the Prince Kuhio Resort complex. The grounds include a beautiful tropical garden and Koi pond. You will enjoy our large secluded 8' swimming pool with lots of comfortable pool furniture. Adjacent to the swimming pool is a BBQ area which includes both a large gas/electric grill and charcoal grill. Furniture is provided in the BBQ area. Please note that Prince Kuhio maintains a resident manager who lives in the complex and is available. The complex has a Laundry room on the first floor with 4 large washers and 6 dryers
We are located in a great area. There are numerous beaches within a short walking distance of our unit ( with some of the best snorkeling on the Island). Watch for Sea Turtles/ Porpoise / Monk Seals and Whales ( during seasonal migration period.) You are just a few minutes away from Poipu Beach & Breneke's Beach. Both are great places for younger children ( or adults ) as they have a shallow cove, lifeguards and a children's play area. Two nice Golf courses and Numerous Restaurant's (including the famous Beachouse Restaurant) and shops are close by.

We stayed at the unit for 9 days and absolutely loved it! Unit has newly remodeled kitchen and bathroom. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us. Looking out the lanai is a great view of park and ocean across the street. Because of the humidity it does get warm, but they have numerous oscillating fans and I kept one pointed in my direction through the night. I found myself under the covers frequently.
I defy you to find a nicer unit for the cost.
We dined at The Beach House across the street and spent quite a bit of time in the Kukui'ula Village. Lots of good restaurants in there and Uncles Shave Ice is the bomb!
We would absolutely recommend this unit to our friends and family.
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this condo for 3 weeks. We stayed at the same property last year and met the owner at the newly renovated pool. She explained that she and her husband were doing a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel and invited me in to see the work in progress. So this year as we were planning I looked up their condo and was hooked. The kitchen is beautiful and laid out in a comfortable manner. Little did I know how well equipped the kitchen would be with like new pots and pans, loads of spices and even olive oil. The bathroom is lovely with a huge shower. They have secured hand rails just outside the shower and you may want to use them the first few times as it's rather a big step down. The lanai became my haven. It is equipped with a high top and stools, chair with ottoman, and a chaise lounge you won't want to leave! We also liked that the bedroom is in the middle of the unit. If you haven't visited Kauai, the Chickens and Roosters are entertaining but they do start crowing at the crack of dawn. With the bedroom in the middle, you have a little buffer zone if you choose to sleep in. Being on the first floor was also a real positive for us as there is no elevator and carrying in those cases of water and pop from Costco can be a pain if you're on an upper floor.
Matt, the Manager, is very helpful and friendly. The laundry room is just a few doors away. And, as I mentioned, the swimming pool is very nice and like new. As we were leaving they were getting ready to install a new fence around the pool. Did I mention there is a peaceful waterfall at the edge of the pool? There are well maintained BBQs and picnic tables. The grounds are just beautiful and well maintained. For an older property, it has been maintained in excellent condition by the Manager, the Association, and the individual owners.
The location is ideal. It is located across the street from The Beach House Restaurant, around the corner from Baby Beach, and within an easy walk (less than a half mile) to Kukuiula Mall where there are many restaurants, great shopping, a large Longs Drug Store, and on Wednesday afternoons a gourmet Farmer's Market.
This is sure to be a popular unit. We just hope it's not too booked when we want to return! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!

Everything is there to make the stay completely enjoyable. The kitchen and bathroom are of particular excellence as they are outfitted with the finest materials and craftsmanship. Also well equipped for all manner of dining.
Had a great time! Great location with all the amenities! Great sunsets every night in front of the Beach House!

We were pleased and impressed with how complete and well equipped your condo was Jean & Sue! Everything we needed was there; the beach stuff was really appreciated. The books were a bonus and helped make our adventures worthwhile. The kitchen was actually over equipped! We used the condo for most of our meals, and didn't use most of the stuff, but everything we needed was there. The ice maker was a very nice touch. The condo was well located and central to our wants. Thanks again!
My husband and I spent a week this fall in this lovely condo apartment. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook most of our meals, but we also enjoyed some new places to eat in the area. Every evening we walked the 1/2 block to the Beach House to view the sunset.....gorgeous! The bed was so comfy and in the afternoon, I just wanted to read on the lanai, enjoying the breeze, the sound of waves, and a cool drink. The pool is great - so refreshing and large enough to swim some real laps! We loved the book collection: read up on Duke, the surfer and olympic swimmer, and also read about Captain Cook. On a full moon night we were serenaded by a group of chanting Hawaiian men; really entertaining! (in the quiet, serene park next door). Thank you so much for a magical holiday!
