Overview

About the property

2 bed/bath condo. Bikes, assigned parking, secure building, amenities.

One of the few short-term rentals to be grandfathered with a legitimate short-term rental license! License # 00134983STR

Brand new bathrooms September 2015! Everything else remodeled March 2017. Competitively priced below hotel rates but with much more comfortable accommodations for your visit to Fort Collins. Leave your car in the covered parking area and use our bikes to cruise to Downtown or CSU in a matter of minutes.

Everything you need is included. Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway to enjoy many of the festivals and special events held downtown (summer and fall are full of music and art, fall and winter you can ice-skate in the square or ride in a horse drawn carriage to dinner and a movie), visiting a CSU student, visiting a new grandchild, or are a professional looking for a place to stay for several months--we know you will be comfortable here.

Second unit available across the hall for larger family or friend reunions. See listing 313635. Also, we own a one bedroom on the first floor of the building. See listing 478736.

Note: This is an older building that is being maintained and restored--built in 1967. The HOA is constantly working on updating the property but please note that this is not a brand new development. The common areas are adequate but not resort quality. This condo is on the third floor of a walk-up building. The stairs are inside of secured building so weather is not an issue when going up and down stairs. As with any building with shared units you can sometimes smell what people are cooking or smoking inside of their units in the hallways and stairwells. The condo itself is not affected, it is mostly the stairwell and the HOA is working on improved ventilation and policy to address this.

About Laura Jacobsen

Native Coloradoan and outdoors enthusiast. Localvore and possible small-time farmer to be, I love to stay downtown sometimes and I keep the place in good shape for anyone else who wanders our way. A wife and mother of two who still loves to play.

Laura Jacobsen purchased this condo in 2009

Why Laura Jacobsen chose Fort Collins

We love this area of Fort Collins and we wanted to be able to stay there sometimes as well.

This is an older building that is being maintained and restored--built in 1967.

What makes this condo unique

Fantastic food within walking distance at many local restaurants. Great shopping on tree-lined streets. Many festivals, running races, and music oriented activities most of the year. Winter offers quaintly lit streets and horse drawn carriage rides. The Lyric Cinema downtown shows independent films and serves up a lot more than a bag of popcorn. Easy access to great hiking and to the Poudre Canyon which offers rafting, hiking, x-country skiing, fishing, mountain biking and just about any other outdoor adventure you can dream up.

Great location! Old town is at your doorstep

  • 5 of 5

Immaculate is a good word to use as my first impression. Has everything you need to enjoy your weekend. Comfy couch that can fold out into a bed. VERY comfortable beds and the sleeping arrangements are well thought out.

Great little place in walking distance to downtown Fort Collins, or CSU. Would certainly stay again and plan to!!

Located so close to dining in Old Town that we walked back to the condo. The complex was quiet. The condo was clean and very comfortable. A great place to stay.

Comfortable, Inviting and Quiet

  • 5 of 5

We came to Fort Collins to visit family and used this comfortable condo as the base for all our activities during our stay. So convenient to Safeway ( and Max's) for those shopping needs and easy to get to old town where we spent lots of our time. This quiet unit in the back of the building is an inviting surprise after climbing 3 flight of stairs. Everything was clean, spacious and cheery and we were very comfortable during our stay. We hope it will be available for our next visit!

We stayed here for two months visiting grandchildren. They loved the pool! Very quiet and well furnished. Great location and even though the unit comes with covered parking everything you need is within walking distance. The Max is very easy to use and we used it to visit children south of town. Owners are easy to work with and very prompt with their follow up. Agree with other reviews that owners go above and beyond to insure your stay is enjoyable. Unit is on the third floor and we had no trouble with the stairs but you should be aware if this is an issue.

Highly Recommend!

  • 5 of 5

We had guests visiting from California and they were very pleased with the condo and its amenities. They said they could tell that the people who owned the unit really took great care and attention in caring for it, and they were quite comfortable. Also, the owners went above and beyond in their helpfulness!

Highly Recommended

  • 5 of 5

I traveled from Europe for my research at Colorado State University and I stayed in the apartment four weeks. Everything matched or exceeded my expectations. The apartment is clean and extremely quiet, both downtown and CSU are within walking distances and there is also a supermaked close by. So it is a good place also if you don't have a car (like me). The apartment has actually everything you may wish to find, but if you need something specific you can rely on a nice and responsive owner. Overall I highly recommend this apartment.
