Great for Summer, Winter, Spring or Fall. Recently renovated with central air. The dock on 100 feet of lake front and lakeside fire pit make outdoor living at it's best. Cable TV. Vermont Castings wood burning stove. Laundry and updated kitchen. Plenty of parking.
Our family of 3 and two other families of 4 just returned from this beautiful rental located on the stunning Page Lake. I really didn't have any expectations other than the completely skewed "warnings" from my husband, who told me I wouldn't want to get into lake water. It was the complete opposite - I couldn't get enough of Page Lake! I went out on the kayak several times during our stay and swam in the refreshing and very clean lake water! The weather could not have been more perfect during our stay.
The accommodations were extremely comfortable and clean. We stayed in the Master Bedroom and my son (age 3) slept in every morning we were there (yay!) bc the bed was so nice. The other families said their rooms were also very comfy -- plenty of space for everyone. Oh and there's central air too - which actually wasn't really necessary bc at night it gets super cool (pack some jeans and a hoodie!) and in the mornings/early afternoon there's an incredible breeze that comes off the lake (so open those sliders facing the lake and enjoy!)
Our short time at Page Lake was incredible and I've already asked my husband and the other families to come back here next year! Hoping to make this a yearly tradition!
We had a great time at the lake house. Wish we could have stayed longer than just the weekend. The view was great. There was no canoe but the boys enjoyed fishing usung the rowboat. We would recommend this house to friends and would consider using it in the winter too!
We enjoyed our three day weekend at this very charming lake house. It had everything we needed and was very clean; decor was beautiful and quaint. We especially liked the use of the kayaks and the rowboat; and enjoyed a fire in the firepit one evening sitting by the lake. One suggestion for the owners would be to add window blinds to the windows on the side of the house in the family room, as your neighbors are very close.
The property was wonderful. It can easily accommodate 12 people for lounging, dining, and sleeping, and was fully stocked with basic amenities like pots/pans and toilet paper. The hosts even stocked us up with firewood when we stayed this winter so we could keep the fire going any time we were in the house. The home is right on the lake and just a short ride from Elk Mountain. Highly recommendation.
This was our second time staying at this beautiful home! Everything is clean and cozy and the firewood is stocked. It is a very peaceful area. We went in February when the lake was frozen and my husband enjoyed the ice fishing while the teenagers went snowboarding at Elk Mountain. GREAT TIME!! We look forward to returning!!
