This delightful property is just outside the walls of the medieval town of Obidos. The restaurants and sights of the town are a short walk away. The property is ideally situated for exploring the sights of this very interesting area; Alcobaca, Tomar, Fatima and many others. Lisbon is only an hour away as well. It is close to the excellent Portuguese motorway system which gets you just\ about everywhere. It is also close to the very smart town of Caldas da Rainha with its excellent shopping and fabulous market.
The property is very well equipped and fitted out, with quality kitchen items and crockery, furniture and bedding. There is a suntrap garden for sitting out and doing nothing and the agents have made sure it is the cleanest holiday property we have stayed in for many a year. Highly recommended

This delightful house was the ideal place to spend Christmas & New Year.
The property had everything you needed & is ideally situated to enjoy Obidos at this time of year.
We followed most of the suggestions for places to visit & were never disappointed.
Personal favourites were Sao Martinho do Porto & Sao Pedro to Model.
Would we return to this area & house - certainly.
The house was well equipt, clean and close to the walls of Obidos with only a short drive to the beach and other attractions. Added bonus of a sun terrace, BBQ facilities, and fast wifi connection. Highly recommended 👍🏻
I stayed here with 2 friends and had an amazing holiday!
Well equipped kitchen, very clean and in a great location to get to the castle wall.
Folders with activities and days out meant that there was never not anything to do.
A beautiful historic village!
Lovely accommodations in a most enchanting part of the world. We were met by Ana after our journey from Lisbon via Cascais and thus a bit tired. We dropped our bags and headed out immediately for dinner. A little disoriented we happened upon an inviting spot...Restaurante Pretensioso where we had a most delectable dinner with flawless service. Upon returning we were now able to appreciate how inviting this condo was. Large, colorful and very attractive. The kitchen is very well outfitted along with a lovely attached patio. Although we never cook on our trips we do enjoy having morning coffee and an occasional snack which was very delightful here. We also found it very, very handy to have a washer/dryer and took advantage of it. I took such joy in opening the door and stepping out on the Juliette balcony with the dreamy view of the castle! All was absolutely spotless and Ana was very prompt and nice to deal with. We journeyed off on two different days to Nazare and Sintra. Awesome, marvelous, poetic are just some of the adjectives swirling in my head. Very easy treks from Obidos. Lastly we spent a day at the castle and on the back roads to the lagoon. Wow!! Hard to catch your breath with such beauty. Please, please don't miss taking a carriage ride up thru the castle walls...so romantic. We also purchased some wonderful items which of course included Ginja cherry liqueur with chocolate cups... splendid and a very pretty bowl and ornament that I not only treasure for it's beauty but for our whole experience with the lovely shop owner. I need also to mention that we enjoyed wonderful dinners at Petrarum Domus Bar Restaurante and Restaurante Lumen. Both were divine, service amazing and ambiance fabulous. Stopped for pastry and coffee a couple of times at Capinha d'Obidos...We are in love with this bakery! So comforting to come back at the end of each long day to such incredible digs!! Bravo to this magical part of Portugal.
We spent 3 nights at this apartment. It had everything we needed and even more to make us comfortable. A lovely stay.
We had a wonderful holiday in Obidos.
The House has every thing you need for a comfortable stay, clean, bright and great views to the castle.
The house is perfectly located, you can walk into Obidos and enjoy all the restaurants, the sight and the amazing views from the castle walls. We spent a lot of our holiday just enjoying spending time in Obidos.
Staying just out side the wall, it was so easy to get in the car and onto the A8 in minutes.
So much to do and see and great beach's too.
We hope to visit the silver coast in the future, we would stay here again and recommend it to all.
Thanks for a great holiday.
Obidos has been voted one of the 7 Wonders of Portugal and it is very special to the Portuguese people. The Villa Natal transforms the village into a Winter Wonderland at Christmas. A Chocolate Festival is held annually, as is a Medieval Festival in the Summer months. There are numerous cultural activities, such as Fado concerts, piano concerts and exhibitions held in the local museum. Within an hours drive, you could dive off Belenga Island, canoe in Constancia, surf and windsurf on the local beaches, discover a local Wine Route, explore the mountains and national parks, or visit UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Alcabaca, Tomar, Batalha and Sintra. There are several large shopping centres in Lisbon which you could combine with a visit to Belem, a boat ride ride on the Tejo, a tram or bus trip around the historic centre. Historians can discover the history of the Peninsular Wars and the importance of the Duke of Wellington in nearby Terres Vedras and locality.
