Cabin is small, but great for a couple. Was easy to get to and close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!

Very nice cabin. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I were there for our 35th wedding anniversary and it was very nice accommodations. The roads are very curvy and narrow to get to the cabin, but you get used to them after a while. What would have been helpful was a map of the curvy roads once you turn off the main highway to Pigeon Forge, just in case you get lost. We were, however, disappointed with the hot tub. On our second night there, there was a storm late in the afternoon or early evening and we came back to no electricity in the cabin and surrounding area, and then the third night we tried to use the hot tub and it wouldn't work. We assumed something had happened to it when the lights went out, so we called the maintenance people and they came right away and turned the circuit breaker off and on two times (the first time wasn't long enough) and then the hot tub came on and maintenance people left. It worked for about 2 - 3 minutes and went off again and then we turned the circuit breaker off for about 5 minutes and then it started working again and lasted again about 2 -3 minutes. We didn't want to bother the maintenance people again so we just went inside. This cabin worked well for the two of us and would work for a family with one or two small children. If we ever get to this area again, we would definitely consider staying again.

Wonderful Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We just got back from a 5 night stay at this cabin. It was absolutely perfect for us! Everything was immaculately clean. Dishes were fully stocked including pots and pans and bakeware.

We were given 4 towels, which I've noticed some other reviewers complaining about, but no biggie to us! We brought some from home and used the washer when we needed to.

The owner was very pleasant to work with and answered my inquiries in a timely fashion. We had to call maintenance once because the air hockey puck got stuck in the table. He came within a few minutes with a new one. He was very friendly.

The sleeping accommodations are just as described. Queen bed and sleeper sofa (more like a futon). Both were very comfortable.

We had a visit from a dog from the house above, but we loved it! He visited a couple times and that was it, but our daughter was thrilled because she was missing our dogs at home. He was a very friendly dog and even hung out on the deck with us one evening.

The hot tub worked great.

If I had any suggestions, maybe an extra blanket for the futon and the fireplace knob needs fixed. But the heat worked fine so we didn't need the fireplace.

Overall, our week was fantastic. I was so pleased with the price, location, privacy, just everything! We will be staying again in the future!

The cabin is located in the Great Smoky Mountain area. It is in between the towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is close to Dollywood, Splash Country, outlet shopping and many restaurants. There is so much to do in the area, you just can't see everything in one visit.

Other Activities: Shopping, Minature Golf, Snowboarding, Rock climbing
