A great place to relax
This is our second time at Lucy’s house.
Monument Ave is a beautiful location, the house is gorgeous and the owner is the sweetest. Lucy is also very responsive when we have questions. We can’t wait to come back!
Thank you so very much! We look forward to your return!
We had a fabulous Christmas Holiday spent at Monument House. The house is so cozy, comfortable and full of charm. It was super cold so we stayed warm with the roaring fire and good books! Such a peaceful time to get away from the city. Lucy was an excellent host and responded to every question quickly. We are very much looking forward to another stay!
Thank you, Lana, for your kind words. We loved hosting your family for Christmas and New Year’s. We look forward to having you return!
Lovely, well maintained home in nice location!
My golden retriever and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 month winter stay 2016-2017 in this charming, well maintained home in Old Bennington. The setting is lovely with an expansive yard and views of the historic Bennington Monument. We stayed warm and cozy, and especially appreciated the convenience of the attached garage and snow removal amenities. The owner, Lucy, and her property manager, Wendy, were very kind and hospitable, with attention to detail, ensuring a very pleasant experience. Thank you so much!
Thank you, Donna and Knox for your great review! We truly enjoyed hosting you both and are glad you enjoyed the house and grounds.
Cozy, warm home - so much more than a vacation rental
Lovely stay while visiting family and friends. Truly a home that someone, for this week, us, lives. It has everything! Great porch, library and fireplace keeping room.
Monument house is wonderful! This was our 2nd time staying here and won't be our last, Lucy is a wonderful hostess! My kids and I really miss the back porch in the morning, and at night. We were visiting family that all lived within minutes. Perfect stay!!
Thank you, Laurie! We are honored to host your family twice now! We look forward to your return to Monument House to continue to build family memories. Lucy
