Everything was exactly how it was portrayed. The view is absolutely amazing! Richard Sullivan is a great guy and I had an excellent stay.
This condo has a amazing view of the bay. The kitchen has been recently remodeled with nice granite and wood cabinets. Condo includes a lot of necessary things for the vacationers such as ice box, plates and dishes, and a parking space included with the stay which saves a lot of money. The bathroom is also very clean and remodeled. It was nice to eat breakfast while enjoying the view of the bay and fresh air. A/C is also very good cooled the entire studio without a problem. Hardwood floors and Hawaiian decorations were a very nice touch. Having parking was the best part since we had a rental car and it saved us a lot of money by not paying for the spot. The owners are very responsive and will do everything they can in order to make your stay very comfortable. I hope to return here once again and will recommend friends and families.
Thanks for the beautiful home.
The condo is furnished in good style. You have all necessities and a bit more to accommodate your needs. The view is excellent. The harbor and city lights, firework every Friday. It is very close to shopping area, and 5 minutes to the beach. It was easy to communicate to the owner. He responded very fast to all my questions. I hope to return here one day and definitely recommend it to friends.
The apartment itself is wonderful - perfect location to hit the beach (Ala Moana) and the mall, but also very close to all Waikiki has to offer. Off the strip, so a little more quiet. Easy to check in to, clean, beautiful view, helpful items left for our use (towels, chairs, etc.)
I would have given this place a 5 star, no question, except for the elevator. If you are considering staying here, make sure you are not dependent on the elevator. 40 floors of apartments, one small working elevator. We had to wait up to 20 minutes sometimes. The residents recommend hitting both the down and up buttons and just get on when you can. Worse still, when we were leaving, the elevator broke completely and we walked down 29 flights with all our luggage, an infant, and a stroller! Not fun. But if you're traveling light or dont mind a walk, fantastic place.
The condo is a very nicely furnished studio. The small full kitchen is quite adequate for preparing small meals for one or two. I made breakfasts and snacks, and heated up leftovers. The bed was very comfortable. It has a nice modern bathroom with a good shower. Though there is no lanai, the view through the full wall of operable windows is pretty spectacular, both day and night, of the ocean, the harbor, and the city lights. Having parking included was very helpful (perhaps, even essential) if you have a rental car. I was staying alone there, but the size would have been quite comfortable had I had my gf with me. For accessing Waikiki and central Honolulu the location is very convenient- for driving or walking. There is a beach within walking distance.
There occurred a problem with cigarette smoke from a neighboring apartment over the course of several days. I alerted the condo owner and manager about it and they immediately set about investigating it since the building is non-smoking. After their diligence the problem was solved and the smell stopped. They were very responsive to my needs as they really want their renters to have a pleasurable experience in their condo.
I enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to return or recommend it to friends.
We only had a few days in Hawaii and this condo seemed to have it all: close proximity to beach, shopping, boating, and just lazing in the jacuzzi. The apartment literally has everything our house has too, so while small, it was cleverly laid out for an odd shaped floor plan. But, the main attraction was always the wide window with awesome view of ocean, sunsets, and water activity. Because of our limited time we appreciated the beach across the street and the marina with some very interesting yachts. Because the condo comes with its own parking stall in the building we rented a car for the remaining days so we could explore the North Shore and also go shopping at Whole Foods. I think for the price this was great value and a nice place to come back to every day.
Our location is at Waikiki's west end near Ala Wai Canal. Ala Moana Shopping Center and Park are within a short walking distance. Just down the street are Hilton Hawaiian Village and Ilikai Hotel complexes. Waikik Marina is visible from our condo.
