About Lindsay Laurello

In May 2016 I graduated from Syracuse University, and then was faced with a huge question, "What do I do now?" I have always considered myself indecisive when it comes to making big decisions, so I asked myself this question, "If I had just one more day to live, where would I choose to spend it?" And that leads me to where I am now, living in my hometown with all of my family. Since I've come home from college, I have bought a house and remodeled it, bought a corgi (Who else loves corgi's as much as I do!?), and everyday I continue to learn the in's and out's of property management.

Lindsay Laurello purchased this house in 1991

Why Lindsay Laurello chose Geneva

This home was a full time, year around rental. Once the family moved, it was in need of renovation, and it was a natural fit for a vacation rental.

What makes this house unique

The beautiful vineyards surrounding the property. The property is located on a working farm, with 48 acres of Vinis Lambrusco (Concord grapes). Beautiful patio and fire pit overlooking the vineyards.

Go in the summer

  • 3 of 5

We stayed in the winter, which was a mistake. The heating system didn't keep the upstairs warm, and when the blizzard came we had difficulty getting out of the driveway, which was not plowed.

The "Man Room" was a very nice feature (and warm). It allowed us to spend time together in a very comfortable environment.

The house was clean and well set up for a large family. Definitely a summer home, not a winter home.

Owner's Response: Hi Stephen, I am sorry to hear about the few issues you stated in your review. Regarding the heat, I have had other renters stay during this winter and past winters and have had no complaints about the heat. I do have a maintenance person that I could've sent out to take a look for you, but since I am only hearing about the heat in the review I will send my maintenance person there now to address the lack of heat upstairs. As for the snow in the driveway, I hire a plow service every winter that comes and plows when it snows at all of my rentals. I wish you would have contacted me because I would have called my plow service to see if they could come plow the property you were at before all of the other properties he plows. I am very sorry for any inconvenience that I may have caused you during your stay. Best, Lindsay

The farmhouse was perfect for our girls get-a-way winery weekend.

  • 5 of 5

The farmhouse offers plenty of sleeping space for our large group. We enjoyed having our coffee in the morning on the beautiful back patio with the grape vines providing a great view.

Being right next door to one of our favorite wineries is an added benefit!

Love, love, love this VRBO.

We rented the house for a little family get away. The house is spotless, the rooms were beautifully decorated. It was very cozy. I would definitely go back. An added bonus is that laurello winery is next door!

Huge house, great location.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for mom's 80th birthday celebration. The home was immaculate and charming. Huge amount of space - especially in the Man Cave room, with large, comfy sofa seating. The charm of the house is intact, but updated for today's comfort. LOVED the claw-foot bath tub in the upstairs bathroom. Great location for visiting the many wineries - one of which is immediately next door. If there was any downside, it was that the house literally shares a parking lot with the winery. But it was not disruptive to us and the other side of the house looks out onto the field of grapes. Lindsay was responsive and helpful. Recommend!

Perfect Spot in the vineyard

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I visited the area to attend a reunion and see family. We have visited the area before many times, but this was our first experience at the Farmhouse. We will definitely return here. The house was very comfortable, well equipped, clean and well maintained. The area was centrally located for all of our activities. Our busy days were met with a quiet evening in the swing overlooking the vineyard. Lindsay was very accommodating and quick to respond to any concern we had.

We loved our stay and will look forward to returning!!
