Well appointed large home on a beautiful lake. No issues with home; we stayed for eight nights. The property manager Chrissy, was very nice and accommodating. We would stay at this property again. Great for large families.
Loved it, get place for family get away.
This was great for my kids and grandchildren. Nice way to start the new year. Just a little problem with the heat but we got through it. We’re thinking about doing this for the summer. Thank you very much for allowing us to enjoying our time together.
Lovelier than the photos could convey.
The kitchen was well stocked with many extra pots, pans serving dishes and even storage containers. Huge fridge and ice maker- also a bonus. There were more plates, silverware and kitchen tools than we could use. Cabinet space was also left in some cupboards for what we brought along. Having Dishwasher and laundry soap included was such a pleasant surprise bonus. The bedrooms worked out well and we used all of them. The waterfront area was a fun time for our littles as they could fish and do a little water time, - we got fun use out of the paddle-boat and float toys. We used the deck and porch areas a lot, even though there was rain off and on during our stay. All of us spent some time in the large welcoming rockers on the upper deck! The two young moms really enjoyed finding a few toys for the kiddos right on hand. We felt so at home. We were able to enjoy several local restaurants who delivered our food, and that made the weekend all that more relaxing- but being able to wake up and have our own breakfast, so unhurried, was fantastic.
Great getaway, lots of room and we especially liked the fireplace with ample dry wood
We have rented several houses for the Thanksgiving weekend and this one was the nicest... this one was close, and had all of the necessary items.... good kitchen and very good dining area... enough for all 15 members of our family.
Wonderful location and house
The property is quite private thanks to the tree coverage but not as isolated as it appears. There are unseens houses within earshot and visible in winter. It is ideal for large, quiet groups, which I am sure the owners and property manager desire.
We had four children between the ages of one and 3 1/2 and they were in heaven. The property is steep and the house is on three levels so adult supervision is always needed,
The sunrise view over the lake from the very large master bedroom is superb.
The MBR is part of a suite that includes a bathroom and a small bedroom that is not really large enough for two adults but ideal for young children or a single adult.
One of the two other bedrooms on the floor has a queen and the other has two large doubles (or queens).
The ground floor bed room has a queen size bed with enough room on either side for a pac ‘n play (foldable crib/bed) for each twin; there is a batherroma nd laundry acreoss the hall.
The bunk room on the lowest level is really for young (non-amorous) single adults or adolescents (who will find the means) and has a bathroom.
The house is well described on VRBO and the handling agent is SUPERB.
Some reported the path to the lake as difficult for older people and it is steep but paved; this grandfather, who is awaiting a hip replacement, managed it and the grandmother with the recent back injury did as well.
The house is very well equipped with games, toys, kitchen equipment, firewood and whatever condiments that previous occupants left.
-The walls are very thin and the house is not ideal for amorous couples of any age unless they take it for themselves or are polyamorous.
-If you strongly prefer Charmin’ or Scott Extra Soft Toilet paper, bring your own.
The rental agent, if it is still Christina, is superb!
Beautiful home and setting, great service
Our family had a great stay at this lakefront retreat. This home had everything we needed with plenty of kitchen essentials, games and towels. We had a slight problem with one particular issue. I contacted the listing agent and she replied promptly and worked on the unavoidable problem. She contacted me again the next day to see if we needed further assistance. I couldn't have expected any better service. My son & daughter-in-law stated that their only complaint was that they should have stayed longer. We had a wonderful vacation at this home.
