The house is located on the southwestern outskirts of the Hanseatic city of Buxtehude in the village Hedendorf, an old original farming village, 6 km from the city center. In the center of Hedendorf are some beautiful old thatched timbered houses with ancient trees. Gastronomy and shopping facilities can be reached in the immediate vicinity between 100 and 800 m. We are very quiet on a small village street with little traffic. Directly adjacent are a forest area, meadows and fruit fields. The beautiful beech forest on the doorstep lures for a walk, 500 further away, a large forest forest extends to Buxtehude. An amusement park for children and a lookout tower are within a 15-minute walk. By bike you have in all directions designated flat bike paths available: In the moor, in the Old Country or on the Geest, on the Elbe or up to Stade. The Elbe Cycle Route is reached in about 10 km. The cycle bus runs from Horneburg. As a day trip we recommend the local transport connections to Hamburg, Stade, Cuxhaven, Bremen, LÜneburg or Lübeck. The train station is only 1.8 km away. The S-Bahn journey to Hamburg takes 40 minutes, to Stade 15 minutes. A bus stop to Buxtehude is almost at the door.
