The old Frutigland chalet was completely renovated by the landlord couple in 2005. They live on the upper floor of the house. They speak German, French, Italian and English. Both are anchored in the region and can guarantee the tenant with their tips an unforgettable holiday.
On request, the landlord (former SAC tour guide) accompanies the guests on hikes or snowshoe tours. Snowshoes and poles are available for free.
The homely furnished two-room apartment is on the ground floor of the house. Quiet location with change, near bus stop line Kandersteg-Adelboden. The garden with seating offers a magnificent view of Balmhorn / Altels in the south and the Niesenkette in the northwest. Apartment with underfloor heating, fireplace and tiled stove. So an apartment to feel good. You can park your car for free in the hotel carport (no "scrape scrape" in winter). Ski room available.
In summer you are in 15 minutes on Lake Thun and in 10 minutes in Kandersteg, one of the "1000 Places to see before you die" (amerik. Travel Guide). Kandersteg offers top opportunities for hiking, biking and mountaineering. Also culinary, the place has much to offer.
In winter Kandersteg has a very nice network of trails and the ski Oeschinensee a nice and easy ski area. Winter hiking trails and snowshoe trails complete the offer. The top ski destination Adelboden can be easily reached by direct bus. Station about 300 meters from the apartment.
Ideal also for the mid season:
In spring / early summer colorful spring and mountain flowers bloom. Spring ski tours and first hikes invite you. Cable cars are for the most part in operation. In late summer and autumn the view in the mountains is particularly clear and mostly free of fog, so especially ideal hiking weather. Mountain railways in operation until the end of October.
Culturally and historically, the Kandertal has much to offer.
