In the midst of meadows and fields, just outside the village, the former railway station Bresewitz is located on the tracks of the disused Darßbahn. 200 meters from the next house and 400 meters from the nearest road, you can enjoy peace and a wide view over water and land. The old brick house from 1911 was completely modernized and expanded. In the process, the structure and old building elements were largely preserved in order to preserve the character of the building. Each apartment is individually decorated, with antique farmhouse furniture in waxed fir wood, as well as light, light wicker furniture and individual modern designer or Bauhaus furniture. The house is located on a 7.000 square meter plot where each guest finds his own place. Along the old tracks runs the newly created bike path, which leads off the main road through forest and meadows in the one direction to Barth (5 miles) and in the other direction to the white Baltic Sea beach after Zingst (5 miles) or Prerow (9 miles).
The "south apartment" is located on the first floor of the house and offers a view over the fields to the impressive Barther Church in the south and the two large Boddenseen to the east and west. It is flooded with light and bright and friendly in the colors of turquoise and blue and individually decorated with antique country furniture. On the old wooden floorboards is a colorful wool carpet (kilim). An open timbered wall separates the living area from the cozy kitchen. There is a solid wood table and chairs for four people. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans so that guests can be entertained. The living area has a sitting area with wicker furniture. Here you can sit comfortably on rainy days and watch TV or read. New is a comfortable sofa, which is not yet shown in the photos. In the glass cabinet you can see the beautiful crockery from the famous potter Hedwig Bollhagen.
The bedroom has a double bed and a single daybed. The large bathroom is naturally exposed and offers a bath and a bidet. Also through this roof window you can look far over the bay.
An adjoining nursery with a double bunk bed made of pine wood can be rented from twenty euros per night.
For children there are wooden toys and other games. Individually controllable gas central heating, good kitchen equipment and beautiful garden furniture are available. To sunbathe, eat and play you will find in the large garden various seats, a large barbecue area and a bench on the rails to watch the sunset. Several old railway cars complete the ensemble and are reminiscent of the historic Darßbahn.
