We had a great stay in Brooklyn, nice little apartment and nice location. Everything you really need within walking distance.
I noted a couple things I wanted to remember to note when I wrote this review, but I cannot remember what they were,
meaning they really were not that big of a deal.
All in all, I would recommend this place to those looking to stay in Brooklyn for a few days.
We had a lovely stay at David's apartment. The neighborhood is great. David was a pleasure to deal with and answered all the questions we had. Highly recommend staying here.
Great little place in Park Slope. Close to the subway and was close to family in the area for us. Our kids loved playing at nearby Prospect Park - it was a beautiful place to walk around too. The bed and futon were comfortable, good water pressure in the shower, access to a nice washer and dryer was a plus. Was a little too hot for us and never could get the thermostat to work - we were there in May and it was a sunny week - but I'm sure if I would've asked David he would have helped us out with it, we just didn't bother. Had a lovely time and would definitely stay there again.
My husband and I, (and our two small dogs), just recently rented this apartment as we were both running the Brooklyn 15K in Prospect Park and wanted something close by. The apartment was within walking distance of everything we wanted, including a small park where we could walk our dogs, which was extremely helpful. David was extremely responsive when we had questions or needed something and the apartment itself was appointed with everything we needed for our three night stay (including a fabulous selection of books!). Although the apartment is in the basement, the design of the doors and room dividers are such that natural light reaches all the way to the furthest room, (the bathroom), which is lovely. We highly recommend this apartment and plan to rent it again should we need accommodations in the area.
I stayed in this apartment for about 5 weeks. David, the owner, was really helpful with everything and he was also extremely flexible when my arrival got delayed due to a blizzard. He made everything easy, and took care of anything that was needed right away. The apartment is delightful - small and cozy, clean, great location, nicely furnished. The neighborhood is really great - close to wonderful Prospect Park and tons of great restaurants, stores and bars. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone. I hope I can come back soon!
Very nice beds and comforters. Nice neighbourhood. Well equipped. Great for two but small for four as we were. The only negative to say is that it is a dark apartment because of its location in the basement. Best experience in Brooklyn: Gospel at the Brooklyn Tabernacle.
