Great cabin in the woods at Lake Cushman. Gorgeous area with Olympic National Park and Forest right in our backyard. Lots of hiking.
The cabin has one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and living room. Upstairs is a loft and den with a foosball table, king bed, futon and trundle bed. Very nicely decorated and stocked.

My husband and I had our cabin built in 2001 for our two sons and ourselves. The area is absolutely gorgeous. The lake is crystal clear with mountains surrounding it. We have National Park/Forest right behind us. All of our family and friends that came to visit fell in love with the area and would actually look at cabins for sale. We took a risk and bought Mt. Rose Cabin as an investment. It has been a win/win situation for us and our renters. It also keeps me busy as my boys have grown up. Lots of great people have rented Mt. Rose Cabin. You should too!
Everyone loves s'mores around the firepit.
My husband, parents, and I had a wonderful weekend away at the cabin. We loved all of the unique touches around the cabin like the decor and extra kitchen utensils. The location couldn't have been better - the cabin was a very short walk away from the lake. The park and lake area was beautiful and provided the perfect location for our dogs to swim. We can't wait to return!
This was an awesome vacation rental! The cabin is perfect. Gas fireplace, and really comfortable. I'll stay there again. Staircase hiking area is just up the road, and they have several good hikes. I did the rapids loop trail, and it was an beautiful hike. Well worth it.
Again ! Amazing stay . couples weekend with hiking and wine tasting. The weather was blah but the cabin was cozy and accommodating . games and puzzles and everything you need for a great weekend away from the city. Definitely coming back
My friend and I stayed at Mt. Rose Cabin for two nights for a girl's getaway. We had a fabulous time and didn't want to leave. The cabin is clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Although it was 90+ degrees, it was pleasant at the cabin with all the trees and shade. It was so peaceful and quiet and relaxing! It was nice having the lake a short walk down the hill and since it is a private park, there were times we had the beach all to ourselves. There are a lot of hiking trails nearby but because my friend sprained her ankle before we went, we weren't able to do any hiking this trip. We can't wait to go back!
My daughter, seven year old grandson and myself stayed five nights at the cabin and had a great time. Used the fire pit for hotdogs and went on several of the great hiking trails in the area. The loft area was great for kids and adults. Big deck on front for dogs and the lake so close.
This place provides everything you need for a short term to long term stay. I would only stay here from now while visiting the lake.
