Are you looking for a honeymoon destination, a place for a family get-away, family reunion, or a business trip? We have the perfect place to stay... At the Sea Isle Village in Port Aransas, Texas.
Our Oceanfront 900 square foot condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and sleeps 2 couples and a few kids comfortably. There is a king size and twin bunk beds in the master bedroom with attached bath, and a queen size bed with a twin bunk in the second bedroom.
A 42'' TV is in the living room and each bedroom has a 20'' TV. WiFi is provided in our unit.
There is a private walk to the beach (about 100 yards), or enjoy the pool which is right in front of the unit. (The pool is not heated, and is closed in the winter.)
The lanai has a relaxing view of the Gulf of Mexico, with a balcony height table and seating for 6.
Port Aransas offers various water activities, fishing, dolphin & bird watching, great restaurants, shopping, walks on the beach, and so much more.
Please note that if you use the 'Book It' feature on VRBO or HomeAway between 3 pm on Fridays and noon on Sundays, we will not be able to respond in time before the system automatically cancels your request. Why Thomas Mangold chose Port Aransas
Sea Isle Village is normally a quieter complex than some of the other properties on the island. It was the first condo property built on the island and has been well cared for and is in better shape than many of the newer properties nearby. The owners here prefer sharing our homes with family crowds rather than party crowds.

Just over those sand dunes was 6+ miles of wide-sandy beaches! Not only that, but the balcony overlooked the ocean and was never too hot for that morning coffee or afternoon cocktail, even in the 100 degree TX summer heat. The place itself felt open, spacious, accommodating (even though it was only the two of us, plans are being made to include friends/family next time as the place sleeps so many). It's so close to town with restaurants, shopping, and a few bars! The kitchen had every imaginable utensil, the linens were fresh, the WiFi strong and the owners were so nice (even considering we arrived at 2:00 AM). We are going back SOON!
This is a fair rental but overpriced for what it is.
Best thing to say is that it was clean. Too far to walk to the beach with small children and a baby. Air conditioning was poor in one of the bedrooms. So hot at night. Two burners on the stovetop did not work. Not enough towels. It was okay but nothing great.
Terrific view of beach and ocean, short walk to nice beach
Unit 46 was overall very good. The unit accommodated our family (7 total) without crowding. The kitchen was good for preparing meals. Location, location, location was terrific. The beach was a short walk and we could sit on the deck and view and hear the ocean. There were some minor maintenance issues in the unit that need to be taken care of, but overall, we would stay there again.
Third year in this property; nicely renovated and redecorated since our last stay.
Will definitely recommend it.
If you love being close to the beach then this place is for you.
Enjoyed having a view of the Gulf from the upstairs balcony. Plenty of room for the 4 of us to move around and find our own space when necessary. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking including a slow cooker which we used every day. Kitchen table seating for 6 and plenty of seating in living area. Very clean when we arrived and so glad it was non smoking. Quiet location and good parking. Just a short walk over the dune to the beach. Will definitely be back.
Wonderful as always
This was the third (fourth?) time we have stayed in #46 and it was delightful as always. Great view of the ocean right from the patio. They have added excellent blackout curtains in both bedrooms which was very helpful. Condo has everything you need, pretty and clean. It is not a brand new kind-of place but we love it year after year. We love Port A and this year added the Red Dragon pirate cruise to our itinerary - fantastic! Kids ages 5 and 7 LOVED.
Some guests arrived towards the end of our trip and played their loud music at the pool but this was the only time I recall that happening. Most of the week - as in past times - there were only one or two families occasionally at the pool. The complex is quiet and orderly.

Port Aransas offers various water activities, fishing, dolphin & bird watching, great restaurants, shopping, walks on the beach, and so much more. Three restaurants are within walking distance as well as a hardware store/tackle shop and a few convenience stores. There are at least ten restaurants and a coffee shop within a mile of the condo. If you are a pilot, you can fly right into the Mustang Beach Airport. The Port A airport is only 2 miles away. Other Activities: Boating, basketball, kayaking, miniature golf
