Welcome to your home away from home on the beautiful barrier island of Sanibel Florida. If you are a discriminating renter, this is the condo for you! This is not your typical vacation rental. Whether you are wanting to come to Sanibel for a week or an extended stay this is the unit for you. Our top floor unit is located at the end of the building to provide solitude and privacy and can be accessed from stairs or an elevator.

The unit is professionally decorated with a tropical plantation flair using Tommy Bahama furnishings, wood plank ceilings, plantation shutters, and ceiling fans. Wall length slidable patio screen doors allow the unit to be fully opened up to allow fresh Florida air inside the unit.

Each bedroom and the living room area have flat screen televisions for viewing cable television. A DVD player is provided as well in the living room area. The updated kitchen is fully stocked with all your necessities including coffee maker, toaster, dishes, pots and pans, bakeware, glassware, silverware and every utensil and bowl you could possibly need! Extra linens and towels are provided as well. No need to take the time or space to pack any of the home essentials!

You will enjoy sunshine in the unit from morning until late afternoon. Although this unit is partial oceanview, it is only steps away from the ocean as Loggerhead Cay is an oceanfront community. Loggerhead Cay is an exceptionally maintained property. The pool is noted as one of the largest pools on Sanibel and has nice lounge chairs for your comfort. The complex includes the pool, which is heated in the winter months, shuffleboard, tennis courts, and gas grills. We provide 3 beach chairs for your use as well as beach towels.

Additional amenities worth noting: washer and dryer inside our unit with detergents available; all local and long distance calls are free; safe is included in the master bedroom for safekeeping of any of your valuables; hairdryers are installed in both bathrooms for your convenience; and the bedroom alarm clocks also can be used as iPod docks for charging and playing music.

Our rental rates are posted. State and local taxes are in addition to the listed weekly rental rates. In addition, we do charge a $25 non-refundable rental fee. A 20% down payment for your reservation is required to guarantee your reservation date. The remaining balance for your rental is required to be paid at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. Our cancellation policy is as follows: If something has changed for your reservation time, you must notify us 30 days prior to your reservation date. If 30 or more days notice has been given, we will be glad to fully refund your reservation charges minus a $50 cancellation fee. If less than 30 days notice has been given, we will refund 50% of your rate less the $50 cancellation fee.

Sanibel is a great beach destination for families, friends, or singles. The natural beauty of the island is well maintained and is a must to experience! Sanibel is a laid back relaxing environment. Loggerhead Cay is a quiet, well maintained complex, which boasts one of the largest pools on the island. Our unit is located on the top floor at the end of the building permitting quiet solitude and sunshine all day long in the unit. Although the unit has a partial ocean view, you are only steps away from the ocean as the complex is oceanfront. Our unit is professionally decorated with much attention to detail. Tommy Bahama wood furniture is located throughout and offers a plantation style decoration including wood ceilings. The large wall length screen doors allows you to have a more open environment and let in the fresh Florida air. This is not your typical vacation rental!

This oceanfront complex has one of the largest pools on the island, which is heated in the winter months; tennis courts; shuffleboard; gas grills; and is conveniently located to Periwinkle Way and has easy on/off access to the causeway.

An Amazing Time at an Amazing Property

I'm not sure where to begin. From start to finish, our stay in this beautiful condo was superb! The owner, Megan, supplied us with check-in details before our arrival which helped us plan what to pick up at the grocery before our arrival. The unit is stocked with absolutely everything outlined in the property description, and then some! There were paper products, cleaning products, beach supplies, etc. I have never stayed in a rental unit that felt so much like "home". There were more kitchen appliances, utensils, plates, glasses , etc. than I have in my own home. This truly is a deluxe rental. The decorating is lovely and the linens are amazing. We really enjoyed the enclosed balcony. It provided a nice "escape" from the living room, TV, and the heat. The enclosure was especially nice, since we visited Sanibel in July. We have been coming to Loggerhead Cay for over 30 years and I am thrilled with our 2016 vacation. We will definitely get in touch with Megan about renting this unit on our future stays! Great Stay in Sanibel!

This condo is a very nice spot to relax and enjoy the quiet. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We felt right at home. The beach was lovely and nice and large right by the condos. The beach gear was great, but we ended up renting lounge chairs from Billy's Rentals due to our personal preference. Loved the beach umbrellas and the cart for handy transport. Neighbors were quiet and we had no problems. We had two adults, and you could have more, but the condo and the complex seems more suited to families with older children or adults rather than young children. There are a lot of limitations on what happens in the courtyard, which cuts down on noise, but also does not leave many options for children. One thing about the condo is that the lanai is really a part of the main apartment and not a separate porch. We liked this because you get more living space, and the entire wall of windows open up for an almost outside experience. However the vertical blinds are pulled to the gulf end and block the lovely view from most angles. But we ended up liking the set up more because we could enjoy the sun and the view we had without being outside in all of the humidity. The owner Megan was very responsive and we let her know if we had any problems and she was great. I recommend this condo highly! But if you go in late April or May watch out for the NoSeeUm's and /or sand fleas on the beach if it is wet. We got bitten and did not know it right away, and bites kept showing up over the days. Buy the bug spray at the Island Cow- it smells great and works too!

Beautiful, comfortable and great location!

We loved this condo! It's furnishing are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. This is the first condo that we have stayed at that provided paper towels and toilet paper, plus all the cleaning supplies you could ever need. It was so nice not to have to spend extra money on detergents and paper products. We rented bicycles for the week and road them everywhere we went! The location of the condo on the island was perfect for getting to Periwinkle Way on bicycles. Beautiful grounds, beautiful condo and beautiful beach!

Yes, we would stay there again.

This condos location is perfect as not too busy and if you use the gulf drives you can avoid traffic. The location to beach and pool is perfect for family. The only reason not excellent is the size of kitchen area as with 4 kids it would get quite crowd. The use of the Ruko/Net Flex was awesome after a day in the sun. Shuffleboard and grilling became a main stay every night.

There is a $250 Security Deposit Refundable after checkout as long as no damage to property during your stay. Payment can either be made in full at time of booking or a minimum of 50% must be paid at time of booking and the remaining 50% due 21 days prior to check in. Cancellations less than 45 days prior to arrival date will be refunded minus any credit card processing fees.
