A charming, light and bright large garden level flat with its own private street entrance and door to communal gardens is ideally situated for South Kensington and Knightsbridge. This excellent flat is newly decorated and converted to a very high standard. The rooms are spacious, and the sitting room has a large bay window, good furnishings, and a decorative fireplace--very spacious. The kitchen is fully tiled and has a dishwasher, and large fridge/freezer. The master bedroom with an English King size bed, has a bathroom en suite, and door to the gardens. The bathroom is fully tiled and also contains a shower cubicle (with a tremendous power shower) together with bath and wash hand basin. The floors are heated. Bedroom 2 has TWIN BEDS, good storage, and a bathroom which has a shower attachment over the tub, wash hand basin, and loo.

There is a washer and separate dryer in the hall cupboard--nice quality. This bright and cheerful property is one of our top ten flats. It is large, comfortable, and the location is ideal. Clients should give this property serious consideration; it is one of our first choice properties. SIMPLY IDEAL. The apartment was perfect for our recent stay in London. The location near to a convenient tube station and neighbourhoods where we could easily find places to eat and go out proved to be a pleasure. While being close to a busy traffic artery, Egerton Gardens being set back a couple blocks proved to be a very quiet location.

The apartment itself was a good size for my family, and having a second bathroom was a blessing (I have two teenage daughters). The apartment was well equipped, everything we needed for out stay was there.

Lovely flat on quiet street

We were 4 adults sharing this space for 5 nights. It's large, airy, very clean and well-equipped. We chose to use the company's driver to pick us up at Gatwick. While it is a costly service, it is competitive, convenient and comfortable when one's flight arrives at 6:30 am.

We were met at the flat and given a tour of the space and appliances. The master suite is particularly nice. The other room was shared by our children. If we had been 2 couples, I would have considered the second room at a serious disadvantage. It's perfect for a family.

The location is on a quiet street with easy walking access to both South Kensington and Knightsbridge tube stations, two very different experiences. It's a short walk to the beautiful Victoria and Albert Museum. There are a number of varied restaurants and cafes within a short walk.

An overall, very positive experience.

Great flai in London

We loved this charming little flat. The communication with Shannon leading up to our trip was super. She answered all our questions quickly. Ricardo met us with the keys and showed us around. He was great about giving restaurant and neighborhood information. The flat was clean and lovely. It has lots of natural light and was very comfortable. It was great having 2 bathrooms since we were traveling with our 2 college aged sons. There was a beautiful garden out back that I wish we'd had more time to enjoy. It wasn't a problem for us, but there is a steep flight of steps to go up and down out front or up to the garden. The neighborhood couldn't be better. It is a quiet street but easy to walk to everything. It took just a few minutes to get to South Kensington or Knightsbridge tube stops. We were also close to the Victoria & Albert Museum and several good restaurants and pubs. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. If we ever get back to London we would love to stay here again.

Spacious flat in a beautiful neighbourhood

I had planned a trip to London to celebrate my Mom's 75th birthday. My husband and brother also came along, so I was looking for a place that would comfortably fit 4 people. I found this place, and thought that it would meet our needs nicely.

We had booked a driver with London Connection. Our flight was delayed a bit, so our driver wasn't actually waiting for us when we arrived, as she thought it would take us longer to get out of Customs. So, we spent about a half hour wandering around trying to figure out who our driver was. But we finally did find her, and she took us straight to the flat.

The flat is in a very nice neighbourhood in South Kensington. There are a lot of shops and restaurants close by, along with the V&A museum, the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. The South Kensington tube station was about an 8 minute walk away, and was very convenient for getting around the city.

Even though the unit is a basement flat, there are nice big windows, so it never felt dark in there. I was very impressed with the amount of space in the flat - which was great, because we never felt like we were tripping over each other. The walls were nice and thick, so a person could get up and hang out in the living room and kitchen without worrying about waking up anyone else. Having a full kitchen was great - in that we could eat in for some meals. There are some grocery stores that were only a few minutes walk away for anything you might need.

As some have mentioned, parts of the flat were a little 'tired' looking, but it was extremely clean, so that's all that mattered to me. The steps down to the flat are a little narrow - so it might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The flat had all the amenities a person could want, and was extremely comfortable for the 8 nights we spent there.

The flat was in a great location - with Harrods down the street and shops on Kings Road a 15 minute walk away. There were lots of restaurants near the South Kensington station, and we never ate at the same place twice. Hyde Park was nearby for anyone (like my husband) that likes to run.

Overall, I was very pleased with our accommodation, and felt that it was good value for the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to London.

Home away from Home! Fabulous!

We visited London 3 years ago and used London Connections for that visit - only staying a week left us wanting more. So fast forward 3 years and we were back for two weeks this time. We wanted to stay in a fairly central location and this flat was an excellent choice. Equal distance between the Knightsbridge and South Kensington Tube stops made traveling around London super easy. The flat is located in a beautiful,quiet neighborhood with all the shops and restaurants needed right around the corner. There was even a lovely flower cart at the corner where we bought a bouquet that lasted beautifully over a week! The modern kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, dishes and any a wonderful assortment of small appliances. The full size fridge was perfect for stocking up on breakfast items and take away leftovers. Both bathrooms have a heated towel bar and the most wonderful full pressure shower heads with lovely hot, hot water! Being in London for two weeks we really appreciated the full size washer and dryer, too. We traveled by foot as often as possible and enjoyed the close proximity to the V&A, Harrods, The Natural History Museum and Kensington Park. One very ambitious morning we walked to Kensington Palace, toured it, walked onto Notting Hill and Portobello Rd, had lunch, and walked back - over 10 miles! But wonderful and if our feet had gotten tired we could have hopped on the Tube at any number of stops. There are a number of nice restaurants close by with Orsini's being our favorite! This flat truly was a home away from home and made out stay in London all the more special. Using the car service for pick-up at Heathrow was stress free and we so enjoyed seeing David again as he was our driver last time. All in all, a perfect place to lay your head after a busy day in London.

Perfect Location but flat needs to be "freshened"

The location is absolutely great (close to museums, parks, shopping, restaurants, underground transportation, etc). It's on a quiet street. Also, if you have a rental car, night-time parking is not too difficult and the flat is located outside the "toll zone." The London Connections staff who assisted our entry into the property and who provided us all of the required information were excellent and truly cared that we we would be as comfortable as possible. The flat has a very good floor plan with two bedrooms and two full baths (both of which were modern). However, to earn a better than average rating, (1) the flat would have to be "freshened up" (painted, new carpeting, etc), and (2) the living room furniture was not very comfortable so it would have to be replaced. The cost for the flat would be justified if it was worthy of a 5 star rating. But the 4 star rating (as evaluated by me) makes the cost a little high for a fair value.

Great Property

Everything was great!!! Price, booking process, location, the staff, and especially the property. My wife, brother, and I stayed at this property while on vacation. Everyone had plenty of space and it was great having a full kitchen. We took advantage of the car service (flat rate) and everyone was very helpful. Wifi and washer/dryer in flat were great to have and proximity to the Tube, restaurants, pubs, and shopping made for a wonderful trip. I have high expectations and I was very satisfied. Only thing that could be an issue for some is that it is a basement flat with narrow stairs.
