About Ken and Pat Crepeau

We purchased this property in 2007 and completed renovations in April 2009. We love the relaxation and quiet of the no-wake area where the lakehouse is located. We have four children ranging from 17-30 and there's plenty to do for all ages. We especially like the no-wake zone we're located in so our kids can take out the canoe, paddleboard, kayak and paddleboat and enjoy fishing in our private cove. At night it's very relaxing either sitting around the campfire or rocking on the chairs on our front porch overlooking the water. Mornings are beautiful as you wake up to the sun rising over the water.

Why Ken and Pat Crepeau chose Southern Coast of Maine

Our main home is 25 minutes away from our Lakehouse so it's easy to go up and spend a nice, quiet weekend and reconnect as a family. We wanted something off the main lake but close enough to take the boat out and enjoy some tubing or knee boarding on the main lake.

What makes this cottage unique

The views are spectacular from inside and outside of the lakehouse. It's peaceful and quiet and you feel like you 'can get away from it all and relax'. The "no wake" cove ensures watercraft are traveling at idle speed only, making the cove safe for the water activity of your choosing...yet the open lake is just 150 yards away for you boating pleasure.

Beyond Expectations

  • 5 of 5

This camp was beyond our expectations! It had EVERYTHING we could need minus towels and bed sheets! You do not have to pack much. The use of the kayaks, canoe and paddle boards etc made the stay that much more enjoyable! The camp is updated, modern and spotless. The kids loved the loft and it all was very comfortable!

I would recommend blinds in the room with the futon as it's very bright for sleeping. I would highly recommend this to everyone and we will return!! Thank you Ken and Pat for an awesome vacation!!!

Just and all around outstanding vacation rental

  • 5 of 5

My family and I are from Maine and have lived in Nevada for the last 7 years. We rented this beautiful lake home for a week in June to relax, visit with friends and family and just enjoy our home state again. This vacation home sits within a few feet of Little Ossipee Lake in York County. It has been completely renovated within the last few years and is just gorgeous to behold. Hard wood floors, floor to ceiling windows, full kitchen, comfortable furniture and two full bathrooms. There is plenty of parking, a farmer's porch facing the lake and a side yard set up for grilling, entertaining and nightly fires. We loved the dock, floating dock, canoe and kayaks with lots of time spent on the lake itself. The fishing was excellent and we had nightly visits with the local Loons. It is centrally located in York County so the beach and ocean is a short drive to the east and the White Mountains and North Conway NH is a comfortable day trip to the west. We have rented homes in Utah, California and Maine in the past and none of those locations and units can remotely compare to this one of a kind vacation rental.

Perfect Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our family would like to thank Ken and Pat for extending us the use of their lovely lakehouse. It was the perfect setting for our small family reunion and week long getaway. The house was roomy, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the watercraft as well as the front porch and side yard. It made for a perfect vacation and we hope to enjoy their property in the future!

relax and enjoy

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was a wonderful place for our family vacation. We loved the wake free cove, sandy swimming area, the floating trampoline, having the use of the kayaks and canoe. The grand girls loved fishing right off the dock and the grandparents loved the early morning and evening loon visit. The owners were lovely people to work with and patiently answered all of our questions.

Great cottage

  • 5 of 5

This is a delightful, well-kept cottage. Owner has done a really nice update, and the wake-free cove is tucked in away from the main boating and watersports action out on the lake. Really enjoyed the kayaks and swimming area. Kitchen area and outdoor grill were both great and put to good use. Probably not ideal for a toddler given the set-up of porch and dock (loved it, but lots of steps and drop-offs), but a wonderful spot for a family w/o young kids. Highly recommended!
