|Minimum Stay||1 - 2 nights|
Watch the sun set over the ocean from your balcony or while soaking in the private pool? Would you rather surf off the beach or float in your private pool? Dine alfresco on the screened-in porch or check out one of the many fabulous restaurants just a few minutes away? Those are the sort of tough decisions you’ll get to make when you stay at our Ocean Delight beachfront house!
When you’re at Ocean Delight, pretty much all that separates you from sparkling Crescent Beach is the backyard. A private walkway takes you directly from the house over the unspoiled dunes to the uncrowded, family-friendly sands.
Then again, Ocean Delight itself is so, well, delightful, you might be tempted to spend entire days without leaving the property!
Let’s start with the pool, surrounded by a large patio with chairs for lounging, with the Atlantic Ocean just beyond. Wide shallow steps on one side of the pool make it easy for just about everyone to access. The pool area is adjacent to the screened-in porch, which has a grill for cooking up your catch of the day as well as a table and chairs so that you can tuck in while keeping an eye out for dolphins and whales beyond the surf.
All this, and we haven’t even shown you the inside of Ocean Delight yet, which we think is at least as spectacular as the outside. The living room is on the 1st floor, with a ceiling that extends right to the top of the 2nd. This accommodates 4 enormous windows that splash sunshine and brilliant skies into the house all day long. Another entire wall is a panel of long, beautiful windows looking out to the dunes, sand, and sea. It's truly a postcard-worthy view. But should you ever tire of looking out, the living room’s 50” HDTV with Blu-ray/DVD player will give you plenty to watch from the plush sectional sofa.
The first floor also contains our kitchen and dining areas, complete with breakfast island bar and plenty of seating. You'll love the convenience of our well-appointed kitchen, from the refrigerator’s ice maker to the dishwasher. We keep the kitchen stocked with cookware and tableware, so all you need to bring is the food. The dining room can seat 8 people easily, and it even has a wet bar with an under-the-counter fridge.
One of the 4 bedrooms is on the first floor too, along with one of the full bathrooms. It’s tough to say which of the bedrooms is the “master,” as they each have a sumptuous king-size bed, an HDTV, and fabulous ocean views. The 1st-floor bedroom leads out onto the patio, while the 2nd-floor rooms give you easy access to the spacious balcony. Force yourself to wake up early at least once so that you can catch the sun rising over the ocean—you won’t regret it.
Fresh bedding and towels will be waiting for you, as will a private washer and dryer, so you can pack especially light! And there’s free wireless internet access throughout Ocean Delight, so that when you’re not surfing the waves you can be surfing the web.
As spectacular as Ocean Delight is, perhaps the best thing about staying here is the location. Not only is Crescent Beach mere steps away, but you’re also within minutes of the Matanzas River and the Intracoastal Waterway, renowned for great fishing, kayaking, and canoeing as well as for its adjacent biking and hiking trails. Marineland, historic St. Augustine, not to mention shopping and a bevy of restaurants are all a quick car ride away. You can even get to the Orlando theme parks and back in the same day.
At Ocean Delight you can have it all—privacy and convenience, casual living and everyday luxury—and do it all. So what are you waiting for? Book your stay today!

This is the 2nd time that we've stayed in this particular condo and we just love it; location and condition, decor and comfort ... it's all there. Glad that the property is now with Vacation Rental Pros; were impressed with the professionalism and ease of the entire transaction! Look forward to next year!
The house and beach was beautiful as was the weather. The views from the house were unbelievable. Kids really enjoyed pool and my grandson loved digging at the beach. Only complaint was the stove top did not function properly.
Everything was perfect!! Great view. Beautiful house. Spa and pool were awesome. Had all you need for a great beach get away. A true ocean delight!
The house was more amazing than ecpected. Our daughter is special needs and swimming is great therapy for her. She truly enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings as well. We felt right at home and hope to rent this property again.
I have Stage 4 metastatic colon cancer which is incurable. For one year I have wanted to go on a beach vacation to be able to make memories with my family.
My requirements were simple: 1) The home should be clean and bright, 2) heated pool, 3) heated jacuzzi, 4) a whirlpool tub.
As described, Oceans Delight had all of those things. However, in reality, this is what happened:
While the home is lively open and bright- owners specified that all doors remain closed at all times with the threat of charges for air unit breakdown. So much for ocean air and the sound of waves which were important to me.
The outdoor hot tub barely warmed up our first night on 12/18. The operating unit had the ability to "turn on" tub, jets, and pool and hot tub lights. There was no ability to adjust temperature.
On 12/19 I called the maintenance number provided and was told that someone (a handyman) would call me. No one called.
I called again on Tuesday 12/20 and there was no record of my call. After a long series of holds, transfers and incorrect information, "Tommy" was very helpful and contacted owner while I was on hold. The owner had remote capability to operate the hot tub, and remotely "fixed" the problem. I was told it could take awhile to heat up. I replied that was fine because I was out for the day. That evening the hot tub was not hot, mildly warm- not nearly as warm as one would want a bath to be.
That evening I decided to use the master bath jacuzzi tub instead and jets didn't work when button on wall labeled "jacuzzi" was pressed.
I called the maintenance office on 12/21 about hot tub and was put on hold again. I was told the owner would be contacted. I received no follow up call. The jacuzzi later did become warm enough to use, but later that evening the tub was cold.I could not endure another phone call to report the situation. Shouldn't have to call to use jacuzzi.
There was zero relaxation and pleasure for me - for a 4 day trip that I looked forward to and saved for all year. My sense of well being was far worse when I left. This was supposed to be relaxing and it was anything but. This was a huge failure for me at this time of my life. I will not likely have a chance to do it again.
I will not recommend this service.
This place was everything they said it was and more. Right on the beach. Walkway just out the. Door. No need to go to beach when
Beach side pool is right there.
This was our second stay at this house because the first time was awesome. The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. This time we had sewage back up into one of the showers, which was due to a full septic tank. It took property management until the next afternoon to get someone out to empty the septic tank, and even longer than that to have someone clean out the shower. They did not offer to come out and clean--we had to ask. I requested compensation for this problem and was told because we had other showers on the house it wasn't an issue. We had three couples staying and the problem shower was in a bathroom adjoining one of the bedrooms. Love the house and location; property management not so much.
