About Mark Stowes
I am a marketing vice president for a healthcare software development company. I live in Walpole, MA, which is south of Boston. I have two sons who are recent graduates from college, one's an officer in the Coast Guard, the other works for the Federal Government.
Mark Stowes purchased this House in 1998
Why Mark Stowes chose Teaticket
My grandparents had a home on Great Bay, which is the next bay over from where my house is located - this home is located on a smaller bay called Little Pond. My mother now lives in my grandparents' home. I have wonderful childhood memories of summers on the Cape, including boating, water skiing, fishing, crabbing, clamming and quahogging on the bays and swimming in the ocean. This home has a beautiful, unobstructed view of the bay and the ocean overlooking Martha's Vineyard. It's about a half mile walk to the main ocean beaches.
What makes this House unique
I love the beautiful, panoramic views of the bay and ocean. It's tranquil and wonderful to watch the swans, ducks, geese and other water fowl on the bay. It's a great place to kayak, walk, and then relax with a cup of coffee on the deck. Sunsets are beautiful.

Amazing view, wonderful family spot
The perfect spot for your comfortable, family beach getaway - just looking out at the water and the daily routines of the geese and ducks was so restful. House is well-maintained; basement living area would be perfect for grandparents on our next trip! Owner is very considerate, and there's everything you need. We're coming back!
Lovely house in a great location. I would definitely recommend this house.
Thanks for the kind review. I'm so glad you had a nice time at the house.
Great Location - home away from home
Our family stayed here for 2 weeks this spring/summer and it was extremely relaxing and very comfortable. 3 Adults (over 45) upstairs and 2 twenty year olds downstairs was the perfect combination. A kitchen area on both floors was a bonus for sure. The kids enjoyed kayaking multiple times each day and the adults enjoyed some of the most spectacular sunsets you can ever imagine each night. Mark was extremely responsive prior to rental and while there and there was nothing that was missing from our stay. I highly recommend this property for future renters (except on the dates that i want....LOL)!!!
Four couples shared this wonderful property for a week. Plenty of room for all. Outdoor shower was a treat. Beautiful views, gorgeous sunsets, close to everything. If you like to walk, there are many neighborhoods to explore. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommend sitting on the deck waiting for the Blue Heron to stop by. Great communication from Mark. A great experience all the way around!
Great Week on Cape Cod
This has been the 4th year our family has rented the above summer home. The location is perfect, right on the pond, with a view of the Vineyard from the deck, close to the beach, restaurants and downtown. The property is clean and well-maintained, perfect for our family. Owner is friendly and helpful if problems arise. Would highly recommend this vacation home to my family or friends.
We have enjoyed this rental for many years now. It is a great location, yard and space for our family.
