This inviting lakefront home is perfect for families. The large, private, fenced in yard keeps toddlers from going to the lake. The porch swing on the deck is a great place to watch awesome sunsets.
The house has spacious rooms and comfortable furniture. The great room has a fireplace and built in bookshelves that are full of books, videos, DVD’s and games. Cable TV and wireless internet are available too. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils and small appliances, but no dishwasher. The table in the dining area off the great room seats 8. Sunny breakfasts are delightful on the cozy, knotty pine porch.
The upstairs has 3 bedrooms with views of the lake; one has 2 antique twins; another has a queen and 2 twins. The third is a small bedroom with 1 twin bed. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and is near the bathroom. The Bunkhouse has been remodeled and is now available as extra sleeping space. It has it’s own powder room and a set of bunk beds, but is not winterized.
The new stairs to the lake are lit with solar lamps. Our 100 feet of waterfront includes a deck, a 50 ft long L shaped dock, and a swimming beach. You can use the canoe and swim to the raft (note - raft available between Memorial Day and Labor Day). The lake is about 5 ft. deep at the raft. Seneca Lake has excellent fishing and boating, with marina’s nearby to rent all types of boats. Cookout on the gas grill and roast marshmallows on the firepit. There is parking for 3 cars.
If you've been here as a guest of our renter, please mention it to us if you want to rent it yourself.

Chuck spent every summer on Seneca Lake as a child and we have emotional ties to this property. Our family loves to gather here, play in the water, and make memories. We enjoy the peace and beauty of the lake and surrounding vineyards. We like to get to know our renter's who we share our house with.
Chris Carson purchased this house in 2008
The house and setting was perfect. Exceeded all of our expectations. Definitely will return.
Great house. Sunsets on the lake were awesome. Short walk through vineyards to Zugibe winery. Would come back again. Didn't want to leave.
Wonderful home, wonderful owners! So very comfortable. An additional bath in the main house would be an asset! We would certainly recommend your property. Your neighbors were most pleasant, a nice plus!
Thank you for a home-like stay for our son's graduation from Hobart! We actually stayed at your home in May of 2010, but couldn't put that into the calendar. Think we were the second renters! We would not hesitate to visit again as we so enjoyed the beautiful views and amenities you so graciously provided! Thank you!

First, I would like to thank the owners, as they have done an awesome job in maintaining the property. Super clean, open feel and what not. Some of the antiques (like the electric stove) added so much character to the home. I had my family visiting me from India, and they were really amazed to stay in such a beautiful house. And I must appreciate the attention to detail that the owners paid to and wrote small notes for us at every little spot where we might have had any difficulty. The house was well stocked with every necessary item of daily use such as paper towels, toilet papers, enough linen etc. Also owners are available through phone all the time in case you have any last minute questions. In total it was an amazing vacation that we had at this house and would look forward to staying here again.
Wonderful Lake Cottage with beautiful details, comfortable and fun for everyone, close to various wineries and Geneva. We enjoyed our spring stay on the Lake!
The description and photos are merely the tip of the iceberg. Never before have we felt so immediately "at home" as we did upon arriving at this cottage. Everything, and I mean everything, screams "just relax and enjoy yourself, we have everything else covered." The location (with-in close proximity to over 102 wineries surrounding the lakes), the wonderful furnishings, the amenities, the fully furnished kitchen (we fell in-love with the stove), even the silky soft linens on the beds, reminds you that you have truly stumbled across a unique and precious gem. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay both relaxing and exciting, and proved to be the perfect hosts. By the end of our week long stay, even one of our four-legged, furry children (a Pug) who thinks that walking is beneath her, was running up and down the stairs to the lake each day to swim. In short...We can't wait until our return next year, to do it all over again !!!!
Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes, we are surrounded by wonderful wineries, open all year round. We are less than an hour to Watkins Glen for hiking the gorge and for racecar enthusiasts. Canandaigua and Ithaca offer artsy shopping and theater. Other attractions are the Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, the National Women’s Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, and the Waterloo Outlet Mall. In the winter, it is a short drive to Bristol Mt. for skiing, or to Rochester or Syracuse.
