Cozy, Clean and quiet!

  • 5 of 5

I had never rented from Homeaway before, but after reading the reviews on this house I booked it and glad I did. We were in Vermont for a girls weekend and the house was perfect for the 7 of us.

The house was clean, roomy and even better in person. The living room with the large sectional was perfect for chatting by the fire. Plenty of seating for eating in the kitchen/dining and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal.

We had about 4 inches of snow overnight and were plowed before we woke up.

The owner was great and I would stay here again!

Comfortable family home

  • 5 of 5

Five people, three generations, all arrived to enjoy Columbus Day Weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and beauty of this wooded spot as well as the layout of the home which allowed everyone lots of room and privacy. Although secluded, we were not far from the attractions of Quechee, Woodstock and Hanover, Every amenity we could have needed was provided and worked perfectly. We would definitely recommend this for anyone seeking a comfortable family home away,.

Secluded and quiet

  • 5 of 5

This was a great house for our family to stay in for our son's wedding which was at the Quechee Club. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and it was quite relaxing to be in the house. It's a shady setting in the woods. I would recommend this for the quiet retreat types. The wedding at the Quechee Club was fantastic.

Relaxing, Convenient Stay

  • 5 of 5

This house was a perfect location for a family vacation as we enjoyed the Upper Valley. Less than 30 minutes from Dartmouth, Quechee Gorge, Sugarbush Farms, and Norwich for great days trips. With two small kids, the property worked out well as it located at the end of road with enough of a yard and wooded area for the kids to run around without us having to be concerned. Very relaxing house with enough room for everyone and a well-stocked kitchen so we could make all of our meals. Owners were very responsive and extremely helpful with any questions before and during our visit. We are already trying to figure out a way to get back again!

A Gem in an Idyllic Setting

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful, light, charming, well-appointed house is indeed a find, a gem. The lay-out is wonderful - spacious kitchen/dining and living areas, large bedrooms offering privacy and every comfort. The setting is secluded and lovely, yet convenient to Hanover, Woodstock, etc. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot to celebrate Dartmouth graduation. We'll be back!

Great vacation week in Quechee

  • 5 of 5

My family had a wonderful week in Quechee. The house is absolutely great and our family fit in perfectly. We loved the arrangement, the big fireplace, the perfectly set up kitchen and all the beautiful rooms. It was great to have all the toys, videos and everything right there. We loved the safe and private street and the kids enjoyed playing outside a lot. The snow was perfect and we enjoyed the club, and all the activities it offered. The club has an amazing ski program, the gym is great, the cross country trails are amazing and the pool was perfect for the kids. My 4 year old went to ski school every day and became quite a skier by the end of the week. We loved the pool, skating and sledding too, so all was perfect.

We are looking forward to going back for more fun time. Thank you so much
