About cross reference vrbo #1009441 --Central Oregon
We love our Mountain Getaway. We live in the Portland area so it is a 45 minute drive to feel like we are away from the busy life in town. We enjoy Hiking, Skiing, Snowshoeing and Fishing in the Mt Hood Territory. Our cabin is a wonderful place, in a excellent location, to visit with family and friends. We are sure you will find it just as enjoyable and relaxing as we do.

Why cross reference vrbo #1009441 --Central Oregon chose Mount Hood Village
We have always wanted to live on the River. It is close to some of the best wilderness trails, tallest old growth trees and stunning views of the rivers and mountians. We enjoy all of Mt. Hood outdoor activities, including Golfing about 10 mins. away in the small town of Welches. Great restaurants and gift shops just up the road Mountain Bike trails and great fishing holes --very close by-- Central location for all outdoor activities. Or just sit back in the snowboard chair and take in the best wild river --rapid views-- you dream about. _____________________________________________________________________________ Note --If you are traveling to Central Oregon Check out our Mount Jefferson View -Townhouse VRBO # 1009441 _____________________________________________________________________________

Nice location for skiing
was close to skiing but low enough in elevation we did not have to deal with snow. View of river is excellent.
The cabin was wonderful! We were looking for a place to spend a relaxing weekend and do some skiing, and felt right at home. The cabin had incredible windows looking right out on the river, which was just a short distance away. You really felt you were in the forest itself.
The house was comfortable and with a well stocked kitchen for cooking anything you might want to prepare. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the house was well stocked with games for both kids and adults. The only think I would say is if you sleep cold you might choose the bedroom under the loft, as we felt too hot there, and the couple staying in the master bedroom said they were a little chilly.
I would happily stay here again, and will hopefully be able to plan another weekend getaway!
We absolutely loved this home. It was clean and just beautiful, would love to come back again. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the sound of the river, the fire pit, lovely landscaping even in winter. My only suggestion would be to add more covered area outside for seating to enjoy the regular rainshowers that make this area so beautiful.
Beautiful house and beautiful setting
Our host had decorated the home for the holidays and it really made us feel at home. The home was lovely and very clean. Communications with the host were fast and timely. The home had everything we needed and the setting by the river was just beautiful. Had a great time and will return in the future.
House was perfect! Clean, comfortable and peaceful! Great location to Mt. Hood and the Sandy River sound was ever so relaxing. Would highly recommend for the perfect getaway!
Loved this Beautiful Cabin!
Plenty of space for everyone and everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving feast and more! God Bless!
Salmon and Steelhead fishing less than 5 mins down the road --
where the Sandy and Salmon Rivers met ---( natural wild river ---from the top of Mt. Hood to the Columbia River ) . Also the Brightwood store is 3 mins. down the road for bait, beverages and snow parking permit or summer trail permit.
Golfing, restaurants or massage 7 mins. to Welches.

NOTE -- The good thing about this elevation in the winter --is the fact you rarely have difficulty getting around.
