Traveled all over the world, skied at Wolf Creek Ski Area in the 70's. Woke up after a great day of skiing, a great party in Pagosa Springs Colorado thought I died and went to heaven. Bought 5 areas, moved here permanently in the mid-80's, built a home and raised two great kids and a business, love Colorado especially Pagosa Springs.
Amanda purchased this lodge in 2003
There are a hundred and one things to do in and around Pagosa Springs and Archuleta County plus 4 seasons and great snow. I love it.
This property sits on 58 acres surrounded by national forest and wilderness. Turkey Creek runs behind this property, some of the best fly fishing in Archuleta county. This home has a 10 person theater, regulation size pool table a 6 person Jacuzzi tub all of this while you watch deer and elk grazing out back. Got to see this home to believe it.
Best fly fishing stream is out back, Turkey Creek, if you would like a day horseback ride with a camp out with food and a singing cowboy, like in the old days we can set it up for you. How about snowmobile, RAZER or ATV guide rides into national forest, house boating on Lake Navajo, Durango/Silverton train ride, hike through Mesa Verde Indian ruins or watch a play at Creed Repertory Theater over in Ceede, Colorado, or watch Tobe Keith sing over in Durango at Fort Lewis College, do a white water rafting trip down the class 4 Upper Piedra River or a leisurely rafting trip down the San Juan river into Pagosa Springs getting out and soaking in the hot springs while getting your body temperature back up, you just have to ask!
